Yep. Just dled it. If you have a HDTV, this game is a visual treat.tahrikmili said:This game looks phenomenal. Is the Trailer on XBL?
Haha, I like it.Sabotage said:"I always get bullets for Christmas"
Sweet? Yeah, fist-bump bro...Trasher said:I think the idea of his visor being all scratched up like that is pretty sweet. Maybe once we get to know him a little more it won't seem so overdone? I do think they went a bit overboard on all those grenade rounds though. Kinda looks a bit ridiculous.

edit:
Eh, I gave it a go. There isn't a lot of good color and lighting in the shot so it was hard to fix up without proper tools. =/ This one is the right size though!Nutter said:how about my avatar done right? [aka same shot, and fix it up a bit so the guy is a bit more visable]
Trasher said:I got bored. Here's some potential avatars if anyone wants to use them.
Edit: Taking these down one by one when someone claims one.
Haha, I definitely see where you are coming from, but who knows. Maybe it will fit this guy once we hear him talk and learn more about his character.Sir Fragula said:Sweet? Yeah, fist-bump bro...
Unless it's battle damage from a Brute knawing at his helmet for half a day and the UNSC has run out of replacement helmets, I can't see how it's possible for him to look like someone who isn't a twat. Nothing says highly-trained super soldier like scratching a fucking face onto your million-credit highest-of-the-high tech helmet.

EDIT: Oh, I guess not. I really want a game with the SPARTAN-IIs from the novels.
Hah, nice. I like this guy.Sabotage said:"I always get bullets for Christmas"

Also, noticed Carter-255 on the Commander's armor.
Based on the fact that Halo 3 was early 360 and that Gears and ME2 provide a top line for expectations for a 360 game, I feel like Halo had a lot of room to improve in the visuals department. Now, the fact that the Halo is set in wide open environment, and the games will likely support split-screen of some degree probably means there are concessions. Right now, I'm largely expecting this video minus the gloss and sheen.
The sane, rational part.Smokey said:but a part of me doesn't think it will look like that during gameplay

I am pretty sure you are recalling that correctly. At the same time though I am not sure what the exact armor is that we are seeing in this trailer.Revelations said:So is it a fact these guys are wearing Mk. IV armor just like the spartans in Halo Wars? Will we upgrade to Mk.V in the game? If I recall correctly didn't all the spartans on reach upgrade to Mk. V in the underground facility with Dr. Halsley right before the invasion?
Indeed!Sai-kun said:<-- Claimed?
Smokey said:The other part of my post wasn't rational or sane :lol ?
So looking back on the H3 Legendary ending, the planet that was shown you guys think that was Reach or is that a setup for something else?
Definitely something else.Smokey said:The other part of my post wasn't rational or sane :lol ?

Didn't Frankie mention that armour version wasn't directly tied to its appearance? So that the casing and shape of their Mjolnir reveals nothing about whether it's mark IV, V or whatever, and that its the internal components that change?Trasher said:I am pretty sure you are recalling that correctly. Chinner said:okay that looked pretty good, but as blim blim said that can't be real time with the amount of aa and af is not possible - unless halo reach is pc exclusive
human characters are much better, but still p bad compared to the current standard.
I wouldn't take it so seriously, Fragula. It's just a helmet and it's likely that it won't change before Reach hits retail.Sir Fragula said:Sweet? Yeah, fist-bump bro...

I would love a scene where Noble Team gather round and mock a pile of ARs as spray-and-pray weapon that only standard marines use. Then they bend them into the letters 'BR 4EVA' with their super-strength and hold them up for all to see.Dax01 said:Can't wait to see what changes Bungie has made to the AR.

Were it so easy.:lol The AR's in there, just gotta wait to find out where. If Reach is really a Battlefield-esque game (open maps and such), Bungie must've made some changes to it.Shake Appeal said:I would love a scene where Noble Team gather round and mock a pile of ARs as spray-and-pray weapon that only standard marines use. Haha, yup. They wanted us to notice that if you couldn't tell. Hopefully that means we get to learn the story of how she lost it.Revelations said:Did anyone else notice the female Spartan III (II?) mechanical arm when she reached out to halt the new guy? It's clear as day she has a hydraulic arm. WTF?
Dax01 said:I was reading some comments on how the Halo 1 pistol might be returning based on a screencap someone took. That's not going to happen if the SSBR is in there.
Well, reading over the past couple of pages, it looks like you guys have done all the analyzing. That's what I get for going to bed, I guess.:lol I'm guessing the one new vehicle shown in the trailer will be in the MP.
I now await the magazine articles in January: Can't wait to see what changes Bungie has made to the AR.
I think someone sounds bitter because there haven't been any Brits in the games up until now.:lolShake Appeal said:Following on from the Welsh music and Hungarian ("Russian") speech of the ODST trailer, I am glad they are internationalizing the human forces. It is the UNSC, y'know, not the USSC.
That's not, Linda. Unless Linda sounds like a dude. :lollordog said:This game is going to be amazing, i loved the book, Halo:fall of reach. and it's nice to see Linda with her sniper
P.S. just put up am avatar, just testing it out
