I wonder if this mode relates to Invasion? We saw Covenant Dropships in the beta trailer.

Or maybe it was Firefight considering it's "mode" and not "gametype" although that could just mean the same thing.

I went to a semi Halo tournement (was more of a meet up and mess around thing) and we have like 42inch tv's - it was horrible (I cant believe im saying that)

Lol, I went to Halo 3 tournament at school once that had a wide variety of displays. In the semi's I played against a guy on a fucking projection screen while he was on a pc monitor. It was a Halo 3 launch tournament and I hadn't even played it yet because I didn't have my Xbox with me.

I'm downloading the montage right now, I'm sure it's great but I'll give my input later.

I know this would be more work, but you could of just thrown all the clips that were not used into an outtakes kinda of thing with just some music playing, but of course that would probably be around 20 to 30 minutes or so of just random clips playing to music with no editing. Just a random suggestion, I know you already put enough work with this.

I never knew it came so close to being a disaster. Very interesting read.

Anyway, story wise it is still the best Halo to me.

Finally got to reading this. Fantastic article, with a spot-on conclusion:

Five years down the line, as Halo 2 takes its final bow with the closure of Xbox Live services - "a really poignant moment for me, actually", admits Butcher - the Bungie team knows the verdict. Halo 2 was their difficult second album; the victim of over-ambition, the product of a tortured gestation period, flawed and incomplete. Audio mixing was right on the money as well. Awesome awesome job bro.

That montage was great to watch! I miss the college days where I used to play Halo 2 night and day. I totally missed out on Halo 3 multi-player altogether. I loved Firefight in ODST though. Hopefully I can get some games with GAF in Reach though.

It's a perfect representation of HaloGAF: Lots of skill, some luck, some hilarity, some combinations of all of the above.

Re-watching it, I'm struck again by how superb the editing really is. Making a montage of this scope entails hundreds of decisions, and BladedExpert nailed it across the board. Just a nice cadence of different types of clips, sliding from awesome to awesomely crazy with ease.

Ah. Nah, I wasn't banned. I had to go into the hospital for a bit, and I was busy for a pretty long time after it, so I wasn't really able to play anything for a bit. :lol Thanks anyway.
