I agree, Halo 2 had much better maps, but the gameplay of Halo 3 was much more refined and polished and it just played better.

I love the BR and the maps from Halo 2, but everything else felt so off, cheap, choppy and just...poor.

I'm an animation geek and obsess over things like reload animations, how you switch weapons, pick up weapons, how your character's arms act in FP when you throw a grenade, etc. and seeing how choppy your right arm is when you throw a grenade in Halo 2 while it moves at 2 frames per second made me sick to my stomach.

And the auto-aim, GOOD LORD. :lol

Doesn't bother me in Halo 2 because when you play Team Doubles, you ONLY get Slayer matches which is what I want anyway.

It's the really really really bad inconsistency of almost all the weapons in the game that pisses me off. None more so than the BR.

Such a horrible weapon, and I'm so glad it's the FUCK out of Reach.

No coincidence the the 2 best Halo games (CE and we assume Reach) DON'T have the BR in them.
