Captured a few H2 matches tonight while player Slayer with Nutter, Spud and Thermight. I'm gonna make a little going away mini montage. Of course while capturing I have what everyone on my team was saying. There's some pretty damn good quotes. I'm gonna see how creative I get and maybe make a little funny video out of it.

Just counted and I played 53 games of halo 2 today. that's a damn fine send off

Same for me.. Can't stand starring at the TV any longer. :lol I played 32 matches great matches.

GGs to all who I played with. Replaying this game makes me realize how far Halo 3 has come, and it has also reminded me how much I love hitscan. Here's hoping that Reach gets everything right this time around.

Btw, played 48 games on the final day.

Edit: Played exactly the same amount of matches as you.

Oh yeah, and something awesome happened today. My girlfriend complained about not being able to play Halo 3 today because I was on Halo 2.

Hey guys, i noticed in the new Reach pics that the skulls look much better then in the Multiplayer Beta Trailer.

In the "old" trailer, the skulls had no real lighting in some scenes and looked mostly material based. In the new pics the skulls have insanely good lighting. The difference is huge even though the trailer screengrab has bad quality.

Im done, I just cant play anymore, I pretty much played non stop since yesterday morning and im feeling funny :lol

It was amazing though, and I had a great time with it, I went on pretty much knowing nothing and I think ive played my fill of almost all the maps. I Also played some interesting gametypes in customs and it was a good day of Halo. Thanks everyone who played with me!

I guess there was a lot less cheating/ foul play because it was the last day, and so maybe I would have hated it a year ago, but I love this game. Its amazing how far Bungie have come though, especially in terms of weapon balancing - the H2 sniper is a beast!

So the GTTV invasion reveal is supposed to be today right? Will it possible to stream this from their site? What time is it on? Or would it be right to expect it to appear on youtube etc pretty soon afterwards?

I believe it's tomorrow. Friday 16th @12.30 am (past midnight, that is).

I've yet to discover which time zone does that refer to.

12:30 am eastern... But it doesnt mean 9:30 Pacific, the eastcoast gets to watch it 3 hours earlier then the west coast since it wont broadcast here until 12:30 am pacific. Sux for me and others from the west coast but ill be up anyways. Maybe ill find a live stream.

So for us euro-folks it's 4.30 am. Which means I'll be watching it tomorrow morning at work saturday morning.

Finally some gameplay footage, that will put to rest the complaints about visual fidelity.

The multiplayer ViDoc Zugzwang Evolved already showed impressive improvements over the first beta vid in lighting, textures, shaders and everything.

Yeah good games man, we must have played like 12+ hours, really dissapointing to not actually be there at the moment of death but I had a REALLY good time so its all good.

Also, I think thats the time it's televised on Spike TV, so not sure when an online version will be available. Guess we will have to rely on someone capturing the sgment when it's on TV and uploading to youtube.

Great games last night. Also never take more than 1 energy shot. They didn't take effect till after I took a nap and are currently causing me to flip the fuck out.

Is it still going? I couldn't pull the all nighter fully as I had class at 7...I'm still damn tired.

It should also be noted that the damage system in Halo 2 is ridiculously better than Halo 3.

Would be suprised if it is Saturday morning as it will mean that the weekly update will spoil the reveal for their exclusive or will be held back in talking about anything as GTTV has the exclusive reveal.
Dunno if that makes sense reading it back, I understand though...

I think the timings perfect, gives Urk a chance to give us a nice Halo 2 retrospective :p

I honestly would prefer a good send off to Halo 2 this Friday rather than new info.

As long as it doesn't involve playing any more for any more special stuff. 5 hours of H2 and I'm fried. How did I ever used to play until 2am every night for weeks on end and still function? Old I be.

GTTV is on Fridays now (Sat morning for you East coast folk).

In CST that is 11:30pm Friday night.
