If you look carefully there is a small X to the left of the bullet in the beta ARBungieware said:So it says X on the display on the H3 and pre alpha AR's but Y on the beta AR... what's that about?
Are you sure? The episode premieres the morning of April 16th, tomorrow morning ("tonight), at 12:30 AM; it says so on the website. Plus, it makes more sense this way, as it follows the past few weeks when it comes to releasing new information about the Beta. The BWU will come after to help explain what was shown in the episode.Deadly Cyclone said:GTTV is on Fridays now (Sat morning for you East coast folk).
In CST that is 11:30pm Friday night.

Edit: H2 servers are still up. I wonder what's up.

Then why does the website say April 16th at 12:30 am?chess said:It's tomorrow night at 11:30pm cst. It's always on Friday night.

Major Nelson should have been more clear with his stupid countdown. Didn't he realize everyone was making plans based on it to stay up late and be there for the final moments?? He should have clarified it was only a countdown to the last day. I'm at work like a zombie today after only sleeping for 2 hours last night, I had fun playing, but still, it seems I could have just easily played the final games this afternoon after getting home... ggrrr.SailorDaravon said:God DAMN it, I stayed up until freaking 6am because I didn't want to miss the servers going down, and it's 11am now and they're still up? :lol
To be fair Major Nelson's blog countdown just counted down to 0 and says XBL gets shut down today. I swear to God if all of this is happening and lives were ruined because Bungie appears to have been the only one quoting the 12 midnight PST thing, I will be genuinely pissed.
It sucks that for those who stayed up last night only to wake up this morning to see that the servers are still up. It's lucky for me because I wasn't able to, due to school reasons, stay up that late and get in as many games as I wanted to.SailorDaravon said:God DAMN it, I stayed up until freaking 6am because I didn't want to miss the servers going down, and it's 11am now and they're still up? :lol

Deputy Moonman said:I got to play a couple of games on Waterworks, but only one on Headlong, which is still one of my favorite maps in Halo2. Lockout and Colossus were also great. I can't put a finger on what it is I enjoy about Halo2 so much. Last night I was feeling like a competent player again, something that I don't feel when I play Halo3. I get worked in Halo3. Anyway, it was fun playing with everyone last night and I may jump on for a little bit if the servers are still up when I get home (I'm on campus atm).
Some things I noticed about Coagulation. It feels a lot bigger than Valhalla, a lot. And I dont know if it really is or if its openness just makes it feel that way. Also, while it was slightly easier to deal with vehicles in Halo2, they still could dish out the hurt. The other team had control of all the vehicles in one of my last games for the night and our team couldn't do a thing, which makes me believe that vehicles didn't need the boost in Halo3.

I don't know. The rocket still gives you a small chance at getting away. The laser is just instant pwnage. By the way, I joined your clan!!!! Now we're brothers :lolbobs99 ... said:Those Halo 2 Rockets are definetly worse than the Halo 3 laser!
Yep, I was able to nail a Warthog That had circled back around the downed Pelican on Relic while I was standing near the flag spawn. Made me sad that H2 didn't have theatre.bobs99 ... said:Those Halo 2 Rockets are definetly worse than the Halo 3 laser!
It's Friday at 12:30 am, so that is Thursday night. Or maybe they aren't following the rules and you are right.watership said:Saturday morning.
FWIW, the Spike TV schedule lists the show as airing Friday night at half past midnight, not Thursday at half past midnight. (As in, on Friday's schedule, after the 11:00 and 12:00 show.) On their schedule as least, that looks like tomorrow night to me.derFeef said:Just a heads up - the show airs on SPIKE earlier and then it comes to GT.com a bit later - maybe this is why everyone is mixing up the times.
Well, that sucks.abundant said:GTTV airs tomorrow night/Saturday morning. They made the switch from Thursday/Friday morning to Friday/Saturday morning last month. Don't believe me, then check TVGuide.com or Spike.com. If you tune in hoping for GTTV tonight, you will get a Manswers marathon instead

Anybody who played Halo 2 online gets whatever flair Bungie said they'd hook up. It's not bungie's responsibility to reward people for staying up late.SailorDaravon said:Still nothing on bungie.net regarding why they're still up, urk's ironically posting Halo 2 montages :lol
I honestly think anyone who played a game between say 11:45 and 12:15 or something like that should get whatever special bonus they were talking about for playing the last game. I looked at 12 and there was about 3,000 people on at that point. Or at least give these people F&F or download Reach beta codes, or something. A lot of people's schedules got totally fucked up and people went way out of their way on this thing, I basically had to call in to work and that's $200 I'll never get back, as well as one of my only two days off during the Reach beta gone. This is mostly assuming though that this is a Bungie getting the time wrong issue, and not a MS issue though. For what it's worth I can find absolutely nothing anywhere quoting the midnight shutdown time aside from Bungie though.

SailorDaravon said:True, but a lot of people were on because Bungie said they would be doing special prizes for people in the last game/who scored the last point. They said this would happen 13 hours ago :lol
Again, if they were mislead by MS then whatever, but currently all signs are pointing to Bungie just flat-out internally getting the end time wrong, at which point BUNGIE mislead everyone, and then it is their responsibility at that point yes. Even if that is the case (and it wasn't a MS fuckup, which will probably likely be the end result) it's not like I realistically expect them to do anything though no. But in the scenario that Bungie did screw up, it would be nice to do something for the few thousand people who had to drastically plan around this.
