I was gonna say something earlier, but I didn't, but yeah I'm surprised people think godhandiscen is a troll.
I thought his tag had to do with Halo actually (could be VERY wrong on that one).
I could have sworn godhandiscen is up there with Ghal as far as Halo fans go.
I can understand his frustration.
When you see how AMAZING the trailer looks, and you love Halo as much as most of us do, you HATE being let down, which only compounds as fodder for the REAL trolls.
If Bungie can pull off Reach at even 70% capacity of what we saw in the trailer, I would fuckign JIZZ.
But we probably SHOULD do our best to keep expectations in check. Either way, you all know we're gonna adore this game.
I can understand him trying to settle the hype down, but he also just says some really stupid shit like Bungie is lying (NO, they're not. They specifically said in-engine and thats what this is), and that this is pretty much CG, which is absolutely idiotic. Yes this cinematic looks better than what we will get in gameplay, but don't pretend that its so unreachable thats it might as well be CG.
This is also similar to juices, who went on an completely moronic tirade about how games can't get better graphics with the same hardware. I mean, stuff like that is so incomprehensibly stupid, that it doesn't matter what their intentions are. They are being idiots.
Blueblur is also a big Halo fan, and he was bitching about the existence of the Halo Waypoint thread. HE later apologized, but I just don't understand this self-hate shit with Halo fans. Like, give it a fucking rest. Let people be happy if they want to be. Clear away misconceptions, but don't say idiotic things as well.
I'm not the most active participator in HaloGaf, nor am I a huge Halo online player. But I've been a Halo fan since the first day when me and my brother got the original Xbox on November 15, 2001. I am disappointed too sometimes and I know the shortcomings in Bungie's developmental process, but it is absolutely disgraceful how some of these so-called "Halo fans" behave.
