A seriously disastrous launch of a heavily MP based game that does nothing to help 343's already shoddy record full of incompetence.

Unbelievable that Microsoft could let something like this happen to their flagship franchise. If this is of any indication of anything, it's that this franchise will be ruined and worthless not long before 343 is done with it.

Again, a launch like this should be absolutely unacceptable for any game, let alone Halo.

Terminals completely crash my game. I'll access them, the Halo Channel will load up and then nothing will happen. It'll boot me back to the pause screen and then I can't select anything.

I guess they need some reason to go to the app but yeah, 15gb patch and you can't add the damn terminals to your game.

I played Halo 1 back for the original Xbox, never finished it. Barely touched Halo 2 when it came out and the only Halo I've beaten was ODST, which I enjoyed a lot.

CE started showing its age in SP by the time Halo 3 came out. There are just too many parts of the game that are a bunch of repeating and hard to distinguish corridors. Thankfully the game has respites with missions like the Silent Cartographer, but this is one of the reasons why I don't agree with the notion that it is the best Halo campaign (an opinion some people hold).

I'm curious as to how different the game would be if Bungie had more time to develop it. More missions like the Silent Cartographer would be greatly appreciated.

Nah. Pop it in and enjoy the great campaigns. Then jump into multiplayer once a lot of the issues are fixed, which will hopefully be soon.

This is really disappointing because past Halo games have had good launches. I've only gotten into two team slayer games so far and they were 3v3 and 3v2. Just going to wait a couple of days and hopefully they sort this shit out.

I agree - don't know how Microsoft allowed something like this to happen. This is a billion dollar franchise developed by a billion dollar company and I can't play one damn online match.
