Random thoughts. Why did Bungie go from one-use equipment to infinite AA? Wasn't one of the biggest issues they had was people were overly cautious in using equipment since they only got one chance?
Then why not make AA's multiple use but limited, like every weapon since the H2 sword? Like you can only engage sprint superspeed two or three times, and after each use there's a significant cooldown. It would also then make more sense to put them on the map as a resource to be fought over, especially if players could drop them when they died.
Then you wouldn't have people camo sniping for entire games, or jetpacking into some obscure geometry, or using the regen whenever their shields go below 70% (me). Players would not be afraid of shooting their whole load before its time while hopefully not being able to exploit the abilities to an annoying degree.
Probably discussed years ago but I wonder what the justification was for going straight to infinite recharge was over just making it work like ammo.
