I liked headhunter free for all in anni a lot too.Played some Anniversary Slayer last night. Shit gets intense with Oddball.
Base Halo 3 has a different video than Mythic Halo 3 if I remember correctly.I just learned something new this very minute. I loaded up Halo 3 for absolutely no reason other than to listen to the main menu and maybe play a campaign level. I started browsing the internet and forgot about H3. Then a video started to play. I knew that Halo 2 had a video that would play after inactivity, but I never knew that Halo 3 did. I know many of you probably already knew about this, but I certainly didn't. I felt like it was worth sharing. It just seemed weird to me, because I've left Halo 3 menu sit probably dozens of times and this has never happened before.
Please don't accidentally "fix" them 343i.
Here's some photos I got from dickin' around in the UI when the show floor wasn't open to attendees. A nice 343i staffer told me it was cool, so here y'go.

Brother Squid, where are you going? The family is this way...this way!
Other than the laser I don't think ragnarok actually has any other weapons that are antivehicluar that spawn naturally on it.I finally realised why I hate Big Team Slayer so much. 343 didn't bother tuning the maps for the gametype so the maps have like next to no weapons on them which leave you stuck in terms of dealing with vehicles.
I'll update them for you guys if you want. Bring back those Concussion Rifles next to turret on Ragnarok and stuff.

It's called an attract reel. Arcades introduced them to catch the attention of passers by or players of other coin-ops even pinball tables have modes that have the basic concept.
I remember working till 2 or 3am with Jim McQuillan on the Halo 2 one, very close to going gold. No day one TUs in those days.
The more you know.

Make one for the collection covering all four games and then release it to us in 60fps before release pleaseIt's called an attract reel. Arcades introduced them to catch the attention of passers by or players of other coin-ops even pinball tables have modes that have the basic concept.

I kinda hope those do get fixed. I don't want to be "that guy" with this reasoning, but I kind of want the games to be played the way they were intended to be played.
Nebula still playing Halo 4 and BTB is probably the most confusing thing I read today
I just had a thought. If things like super bouncing are getting fixed, because the game got a resolution bump, what about ghost jumps in Halo 3?
This is one of the most useful ghost jumps, but there are lots of other jumps that are useful as well.

Turns out that I'm not crazy. Frankie confirmed Steve Vai long ago.
Hopefully they're interested in creating another Halo Legends-esque movie.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D38kkkJcO5o
Always loved this version of the theme too, even if it's not a radical departure. Could listen to this theme a million different ways and get amped everytime.
Should have asked aboutYou mean despawning, and yes, that was me. I was taking notes on my phone during the panel of questions that came to mind, but most of them were actually asked by others. I didn't really have any MP related questions in mind since I didn't really play Halo CE MP, and we pretty much know everything else that they can actually talk about right now.
It's so interesting hearing industry stories/experiences before I was so invested in the actual market side of things, like I wasn't thinking about the design and business aspect of video games when I was younger. It's kind of like you can't really appreciate something until you realize the impact it has on its surroundings, for example the Halo 2 Matchmaking systems for Xbox Live. It must be so fascinating as a young Halo fan to hear you guys, and especially Max in this situation, talk about the past and how Halo helped shape the industry. It's called an attract reel. What the shitter?
How the hell do you do that?
Dude you have to look up jumptages, Guardian and Epitaph (blaarh shit map) have some awesome jump possibilities and ghost jumps(especially the bottom gold one on guardian) are reaaally goodWhat the shitter?
How the hell do you do that?
That's already amazing, but getting that assassination at the end would have been even more amazing.Y'all just jelly that I found something to enjoy in Halo 4.
Also I'm back to uploading stuff on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maJGXpw6DsU

Are you Lord Revan from B.net?Hello HaloGaf!
I am happy to be a new addition to Neogaf!were it so easy
I am eagerly hyped with the MCC. I have been a huge Halo fan since the CE (got my Xbox because of that). I just wanted do say hi for all of the fellow Halo fans. Hope to see you on the battlefield. My BR is ready.

If super bounces aren't in with Halo 2 classic, it's going to mean they used Halo 2 Vista rather than the Xbox version of the game. It's not because "pixels moved"; that's ridiculous. That has nothing to do with how super jumping actually works in the game's physics engine. Also, aspect ratio has nothing to do with long range sword flying not working; they just fixed it in the latest patch to Halo 2 which Frankie already said they were using.I just had a thought. This specific one is pretty easy unlike the several other ghost/trick jumps:

Ghost jumping in Halo 3 is very big and I absolutely loved the several trick jumping montages, that were posted on Bungie.net back in the Halo 3 days.
Frankie has explicitly said that the change in resolution and the "moving pixels" may effect superbouncing. I have no clue how it works, but that's what's been said.If super bounces aren't in with Halo 2 classic, it's going to mean they used Halo 2 Vista rather than the Xbox version of the game. In the Cortana commercials, is that Chief?
Happy Birthday Booties
High level marketing.. Just saw this Smash ad today and it got me hyped, reminiscing a bit about the classic N64 commercial with how comical/unique it is lolWhat commercial? It was weird to no see Halo 4 Ads in Mexico despite I saw Gears of wars 2 3 and Reach (and lego Batman) ads.
Missed Halo night again.
OrThanks babby.
- I'm turning 27 the year halo 3 is re-released.
- 3 is cubic root of 27 (3*3*3=27)
- There are three bullets in this post
Halo 3 will therefore be the most popular playlist in the MCC (3 letters)
Q.E.D.
and I'm explicitly saying physics engines don't care what resolution you're at. I don't know why Frankie said this. Is it because it's simply easier to explain that to the audience rather than telling them they're porting from Halo 2 Vista if that's the case? Is it so that people won't be upset when the super bounce is there but the dark spot on the texture that was used to signify where you were meant to land on the surface is in a different position? (In this case, you'd still have to land on the same spot as you always did on the model but the visible spot in the texture would change position.) I don't know. All I know is that a resolution change can not, in any way, change a physics glitch like super bouncing.Frankie has explicitly said that the change in resolution and the "moving pixels" may effect superbouncing. I have no clue how it works, but that's what's been said.
