Oh my gosh Gaf, I have the best idea for a game. It doesn't have a name yet.
I was thinking RPG style where the character travels through many works of fiction, battling monsters (Cthulu, Moby Dick, Frankenstein, Bowser, Darth Vader, etc). The game would have a hub world where you would enter books. In this book is a littler hub world. I was thinking having the main character be a kid. You would be able to customize your armor/weapons through "letters". You could spend letters on different abilities (more x-type damage, defense, etc). You would get a party of protagonists that are from the books that you clear.
Imagine: fighting Cthulu alongside Van Helsing, Luke Skywaker, Dante Alighieri and Mario.
Of course it could never happen due to copyright claims though oh well, a man can dream!

Without stepping on toes but come on. He was being self deprecating. He called himself fat and hated how he looked. Why is it insulting to anyone else? I get it brings up bad feelings in other people, but come on.

Yeah I think that's a big no-no. IIRC, there was some drama that had to do with that. Someone named Starwolf or something made an alt and got banned.
Lol, I was lurking then. I think he became Grey Man. I thought he was banned because he went a little crazy at Kyle and started to nasty photoshop pics of him when Kyle outed him.
Night of the Crimson map pack launch. Some Mink Tank guy comes, gets banned, catches sltyposion in the ban wave as well.

True, but was that Perma ban worthy? On a related note, did he even get to hear about the 60 FPS and dedicated servers for Halo? Or decide what system he was leaning towards?
As much as I want a ps4, I just can't see myself giving up Halo, especially when they're working hard to make it better. Who knew it would be Microsoft and not the games that would fracture the community even further.
He'll get an Xbone and probably the next Halo game, from what he posted previously, most of their policies don't bother or affect him.
What seems to be worrying some people that are going Xbone or thinking about it is that its still back and forth on whats happening with some policies and what is not so its hard to pin down exactly what this thing will let you do. Which should be worrying to anyone spending $400-$500 on anything.
They really need to just make an hour long thing saying exactly what is going on and what is what.
(Still think its sad they have to do this in the first place though)
It's pretty much full steam ahead at this point. And it's smart. As much as I hate it, a lot of people just don't care. They go along with the apathy towards MS but are going to get an XbOne. I believe by Christmas time, no one is going to keep it in mind when the games are out.
It's ultimately the controller and games at this point. The fact they're promising dedicated servers is even better. If Gears goes multiplatform then I don't know. It all comes down to Halo. I was pretty disappointed with Destiny. Once we see more of the combat system, can I really get on board but I still prefer the core arena shooter Halo experience.
TitanFall at this point has me more excited than Destiny. Everyone is raving about the art style, the 'world building' but let's face it, it'll boil down to the multiplayer. And ADS/character special abilities etc. Don't know how it'll play out.

Not to be a bit salty, but all I see is an ADS rifle, sprint, some sort of slide roll and a big explosion from a pistol. It's one thing to see it in action, another to play. Look how great Halo 4 and Halo:Reach looked in the early videos.
I'm going to say it now, if you hated Halo:Reach multiplayer, you probably won't like Destiny.
Imagine if these classes transfer to the multiplayer. People who are warlocks have some sort of special ability, those who are Titans etc.
I was one of the more vocal people who said we shouldn't expect Halo from Destiny, but then why get so excited about it? Arena shooter multiplayer is what I like, I don't like ADS/Sprint etc.
As for that other gif. Like I said, it's world building. It's great because we can explore more, but it seems sparse. If it's just barren wasteland meant to grind and loot, not for me. Hopefully we see it in better ViDocs in the coming months.
While I loved the first Mass Effect, played through campaign 4 times, the exploration got a bit tedious. Random locales, just doing random quests for weapons or loot.
