I'll chime in about the time that I actually met Harold Ramis.

I was a extra on the set of Analyze That. It was the prison scene on Riker's Island. There were about a few hundred actors there. With the help of some makeup, I was given a black eye. I went to the bathroom during a break from shooting. As I turned to leave the bathroom, Harold Ramis walks in and comments about the black eye.

I remember he said something like, "That's great."

I replied, "Thanks, Mr. Ramis."

You know guys, I've just realized that the reason the GhostBuster 3 movie kept getting delayed mysteriously was simply because Harold Ramis was ill, and that Dan and Bill were always vague about the reasons of the delays because of this. They didn't want to make M. Ramis' illness public probably, and they didnt want to hurt the fans

I'm pretty sure Dan and Harold would have made it work, despite the illness.

Bill Murray gonna Bill Murray.

Norm MacDonald wrote a nice series of tweets about when he first met Harold Ramis while auditioning for Multiplicity

That was awesome.

well no...from what I understand it's truly just a troubled production that's needed rewrites and can never get off the ground. gb3 was in the works long before Ramis was sick.

I hope it gets shelved

Oh man I just pictured a Ghostbusters 3 with Norm Macdonald in it and it was amazing.
Oh shit, that would be fucking incredible. I'm thinking of comedians that could do a decent job in that type of role. Hannibal Buress, Patton Oswalt, maybe throw someone in there like Joel McHale and a nerdy type... um... fuck it, Zoey Deschanel. And for the secretary, Rick Moranis.

But Norm would be a must.
