I think they will also launch it online at 12 am EST or 3 am EST since they must have some more for online orders.

maybe its a restock for everyone

My Nes Classic is called a Raspberry Pi 3. It has waaaay more games, and only cost me $35

Pi + case + power supply + controller + memory card is going to come out to at least as much as this, probably more. Then you have to add the hours of tweaking, organizing, and setup... And you lose out on Nintendo's slick UI as well as.. You know... The whole piracy versus official product angle.

Okay, need some advice. They supposedly have 24 systems. We are #40-45 in line. Problem is it's hard to figure out who is here for hatchimals and who is here for the nes. I figure at $60 most people will say yes to both when they pass out tickets. What do you think my chances are?

Oh and we got here at 3am for an 8am opening.

I'm #5 in line... probably about 25 here total. We've all been told varying amounts of inventory in stock so no one really knows if we're all going to get one. You'd think that TRU would count the inventory and make it a point to let people know how many are available so people don't wait for nothing.

Yeah you're probably screwed. I don't even know what a Hatchimal is but I would buy one if I was in line simply because it's a super rare thing. I'm sure a lot of people who are in primarily for a Hatchimal may also snag an NES for the same reason

Is it pick one or are you allowed to buy both in your lines?

That'd be the deciding factor because it's just $120 for both and everyone has credit cards

I saw about 40 people at my local toys r us so I just said nope and left lol
This was at 5:30 am

Yeah, we decided to go home for that exact reason. Now I know how early I'll need to go next time...

Another toys r us said they are having 40-50 hatchimals and 30-36 nes Classic with about 50 people in line already
And you can get one of each

Lots of parents X older people in that line

Just throwing it out there: this is probably 99.9% impossible, but if someone can get an extra (LOL), and wants to help out a Gaffer, please hit me up and I will owe you a huge favor. Thanks!

The case is optional, and you can make your own (mine is Legos). Power supply is a spare phone/tablet charger, controller was $5, SD card was bought ages ago as extra phone memory. Tweaking and setup was the only time consuming part, but it's a one time deal and the UI is way better. I can start another game without restarting the system.
