That was a fantastic episode. Loved seeing Selina's conflict between her ideals and the campaign's success and how it mixed with the comedy of the episode. Really great writing.

Veep has been renewed for S4

I can't help but wonder: Armando Iannucci is an avowed fan of Yes, Minister. On the one hand, the Veep's office is entertaining in how limited it is, but there's a very clear endpoint for the series laid out in the future. On the other, though, Yes, Minister evolved - very successfully - into Yes, Prime Minister.

The temptation's gotta be there...

I'd assume S3 would be the campaign for the nomination, and S4 will be the electoral campaign. That could easily be a natural conclusion...

That last episode was great, I think it might be one of my favorites so far. They handled Selena's story perfectly and still managed to fit in plenty of hilarious moments, it was a really strong episode all around.

And then launch POTUS? Agreed: it's definitely got to be tempting.

Decided to check out this show because I saw this thread.

Was pretty funny. I loved this quote. "I'm in there trying to put out two fires at the same time, and you're out here setting fire to the fucking FIRETRUCK."

Oh man, the second episode was even better.

Amy: "Have you notice how he..."
Selina: "Yeah, he thinks I'm about to be his boss. He's going to be the first one to go. Dead man walking."

Fucking Jonah.

The childcare lady story was great. I couldn't stop laughing when they yanked her kid and of course Catherine couldn't make it(way to follow in Selena's footsteps), what a way to punctuate it.

Also, is Amy going to be next to snap? Because if it's a running theme, I'd like to see her lose it next. Her scuffle with that morning show producer last season was fun.

Whenever a game uses "middleware," I expect mediocrity. Just see how poor TLOU looks.
Is it just me or does anybody else find this season to be boring? I started Veep like two months ago. Binge watched the first two seasons and now I find this season to be incredibly dull. I'm kinda over how idiotic everybody in her office is.

No I'm on the same page as you. This season feels like a step down from 1 and especially 2. And I was really looking forward to it too. I love Selena/Julia Louis Dreyfus but everyone else is starting to get on my nerves. Plus I hate Jonah so much, I was SO pumped when he got fired, but instead of leaving the show it seems like his screen time has increased? *sigh*

Caught up the other night, last episode was fantastic. Anytime Catherine and Selina interact I love it and feel terrible at the same time.

Such contempt for young Silicon Valley companies, love it. Millennials + billions of dollars = fancy kindergarten

chung coming back, I love how they make fun of him for being a war hero

Well, they're mocking politicians who exploit their war hero and veteran statuses for personal gain and political cover.

So I've caught up with this show 3 seasons over the last week or so. Am I right for getting the impression that the Veep is kinda out of touch and kinda not a very good person?

Hey, Kevin Cecil and Andy Riley wrote this one. Good to see them back working with Armando. Is this the first time they've been involved or have I just been thick?
