You don't realize how much that will help to reduce stress on the cables and be so much more convenient.

My MagSafe is completely destroyed because my cable always came from the right side but had to take a sharp U-turn to plug in. Since they got rid of the much more convenient L connector it made it even worse. So it would get stressed out all the time. But being able to plug it into the right side will be so useful.

Everyone was afraid they'd limit charging to just the top left port if only to save on circuitry, but they didn't. Instead of confusing people who would be expecting it to work on all ports when it doesn't, or having to label the one port as the "charging port" they made it smart and make it charge from all of them.

Would be hilarious if you could plug 4 chargers in and charge it 4 times faster. (I dont think technology works that way, but hell, they could make each charger charge a separate battery cell.)

I've never had stress related to cables.... because I didn't worry about having the right dongle

Honestly I would buy this if they had just 3 extra ports. x1 usb2.0, x1 hdmi in, x1 sd slot. Thats all I needed, I'd gladly dongle the rest.

these books should have this shit out of the gate for power users which is what they are catering too. I'm so bummed out because macbook pro 2013 has been the greatest thing ever for me.
