So this stuff was definitely shown to be 10x more efficient with MS's Studio screen and dial yesterday. But when you don't have a touchscreen this is the closest you can get.

Yea, just buy a new router, hdd, keyboard and everything else thats isn't usbc.

USB-C is just USB. aside from mouse and keyboard, most devices is simply a different cable. Most devices don't have a hardwired USB plug.

Hey, making an official cord to connect both of your leading products to one another with two proprietary inputs that only you as a company are supporting is hard.

USB-C proprietary? lol. troll confirmed.

Man, the touch bar looks cool and I can see how I could use it, but fuck it all if this presentation doesn't make it look like a hassle. Looks really uncomfortable for anything like final cut pro or photoshop.

Which looks incredibly useful.

Versus just an on-screen touch interface? Seems pointless unless you want to turn a speaker dial. Which, don't get me wrong, I love the feel of awesomely-constructed knobs, but sticking one on my display and moving it around to get it out of the way doesn't seem like it's all that useful versus what could be created in software alone.

So, as the Cinema Display is officially dead, will Apple finally allow daisychanining via DisplayPort? It's maddening this doesn't work. And no, just using two of the only four ports isn't a solution.
