Last year, Mary was the most insufferable person in the cast. Every time they showed her or she opened her mouth, I wanted to rip my eyes out and stuff them in my ears so I could ignore her existence completely.

This year, Kashia is the most insufferable. She's not as bad as Mary, but she's so awful.

So I'm watching every season of Hell's Kitchen since it's on Hulu. All the way up to season 9.

I think Ramsey definitely shows favoritism towards the women. This year in particular it seemed like the guys make like two mistakes and he kicks out the entire team, the girls screw up, and screw up and screw up and he only kicks one or two of them out, then they screw up again and he kicks everyone out.

I would agree, although I would say it's been the last 2 or 3 seasons in particular. Last weeks episode was just so clearly determined before a single dish had begun being cooked.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices this. It's really annoying how the women keep winning again and again these past few seasons.

I just want the men to consistently excel for once. :-(

I personally don't see a huge problem with it unless it takes over the thread. Just my opinion though, which doesn't mean much.

Are you talking about Kitchen Casino? My wife really likes that show, but I don't really see the appeal. The Roulette cooking thing is kind of clever but other than that, there really isn't anything to make the episodes different from one another. It's decent background noise though. She can watch it and I don't get too involved.

This has been like the lamest season, that's why it's so dead.
At this point they feel less like amateur chefs and waaay more like actors.

I guess it backs up what I've suspected for a while. Ramsay can tell very early on who the last 3 or 4 people are going to be, and just keeps people based on entertainment value. Richard wasn't entertaining, but Gabrial sure is.

Caught up finally, Richard makes sense. He's too slow and sloppy. With all those years of experience, he's not able to work garnish. Next week looks fun, hope Anton gets his shit pushed in. Arguing with Chef Andi is a sure-fire way to ensure you're not winning the competition.
