Fellow Gaming Age denizens, I need your help! A few months ago I purchased a used PS2 slim from a reputable sales clerk, and for the past few months I have been enjoying the delicious gaming library. But my tastes are becomming insatiable, and I need to delve into the tasty desert that is online console gaming!
Alas, I am currently unable to bite into a sweet tart. I was denied access to Al Gore's internet when trying to connect to a network game in the superb roast Timesplitters: Future Perfect.
Why am I being mistreated by my otherwise serving and faithful PS2? I know a disc came with the attachable broadband adapters, but do I need one when the adapter is built into the system? Does a PS2 slim come with such a disc? If so, can I contact SONY and have a new disc sent to me, since the disc was not included when I purchased the used system? Or perhaps there is a different cause of my pain?
Help me GAF. Your wisdom has yet to lead me astray.
