5) It's an easier game than HON/DOTA to pick that's for sure. The transition from LOL to HON is rough though. Favorite champion in HON is Dr Repulsor.
6) I have to check but it's usually around 20-30+?

Dahbomb seems like a pro player, 30 denies per game? would take me a good 30 games to get that many. Whats your MMR?
 
Any tips on last-hitting? Every time I try to go last hit I get harassed and lose a quarter of my life. The minions also have way more life than LoL so my timing is way off.

Just keep practicing, or play Jungle/Support and not worry about it.

Look at the ranged creeps attack. Use that as your que to last hit

you can drag enemy creeps to your uphill or safe side by attack clicking on enemy hero when at a close distance. this will cause the enemy creeps to aggro you
 
Also, go to create a game, practice game. You will be alone and you can practice a bit the timing of hitting the creeps. It's easier than in a real game cause you won't get harassed, but still, it's good practice.
 
I attribute all but one my deaths to Fayde's Codex LVL 5 before i wised up and bought a nullstone. Ghost Marchers -> Shroud -> Critshards LVL 4 -> Whispering Helm -> Nullstone, and I should hvae made that item way sooner.
