Medivh's polybomb heroic is infinite...so if your team doesn't learn to spread, you'll just get chain CC'd forever.
Also, it looks like the timing on his W will be super important to mitigate damage...could be OpieOP if you're good with it (like Divine Palm), or fucking completely useless otherwise.

In the future they are for highest rank achieved. The preseason rewards don't say one way or the other.

So I finally decided to dig into the game even though I've had access since technical alpha. (Even have the alpha portrait

So I'm guessing the most efficient way to get gold is through the heroes that cost 2k and getting the gold bonuses through leveling em? Do you still get the gold bonuses from leveling heroes on free rotation week?
Been playing Lt.Morales and having a ton of fun with her. Her mobility is kind of ehhh, but damn is she a tanky healer.

So long as just playing a game or two gets you just the base Team League portrait I should be golden. Before the placement stuff was added I played a couple of games as like rank 49. I'm 3-1 total, hopefully that's enough.
I doubt they are giving you additional portraits for each rank up, you just get the portrait for the highest rank achieved.
Didn't they already say it starts June 17th?
I legit see nothing in that screenshot that indicates a date.

I'm a little confused about the end of Preseason awards. Does it take it from your current rank or the highest you've ever been?

I've not seen it set in stone anywhere like the future rewards were, but it's safe to assume it'll be the highest you've been I'd imagine.

Man I am gonna have to get back on that HL grind now. I haven't played it seriously in months. I was like 18ish on my main account when I quit playing seriously, I have lost a lot of ranks now playing with noobs and stuff. My smurf got like.... 8 so easily it wasn't funny. I hope this helps with that kind of crap. Because I am not even that good at this game and I got high ranked way too quickly on that fresh account.
I guess we'll see if he lives up to that "Very Hard" since they haven't done a great job of estimation yet.
Someone said you can get a heal on the W at 16. That skill is basically a small Divine Palm as a base ability, curious how people will do with it since so many struggled with DP.
The flight and stuff, though...kinda crazy.

I'm not sure he really is though to be honest - he's even less of a support than Tassadar and Tyrande. There's no way he can ever function as your solo support, unlike those two. He's a support in the DotA / LoL sense, which definitely counts him out as a support in the HotS sense.
Ah sorry always forget that part. I'm also NA, usually on at night EST. Just sucks that I was one win away from 10, but at least we have plenty of time before season 1. Most of my duo q partners haven't been playing as much lately, and solo almost always goes so much worse.
He's definitely got that League of Legends style support role on lock. I don't think it's opening up the healbot debate either, other than the constant parroting of Tassadar needs to be a specialist (and Tyrande an Assassin or Specialist, potentially)...but we've been saying that forever. I think a role change is the best we can hope for.
That's the problem, "Support" should not mean "Main Healer".
Make a damn subspec for MHs if you need QM rules.
