This is puzzling for me because it's available in a custom game. It hasn't been there for a while though but still. Maybe they think the grief potential is greater than the good it could provide in HL.

Feel like first come first serve style stuff should only exist for casual modes (like replace qm with something like this)

I wish QM was a mode that your team loads into a lobby with the map displayed, then you can all pick and see the other picks. No drafting, no order, just picks. I think that's how League works (the most basic mode, I forget the name), and Mobile Legends and Vainglory work that way. So you can wait it out if you want to make a real comp, or you can just insta-lock. That's entirely up to you and your team. And you have a set amount of time to change those picks.

Feel like it would solve a lot of the QM QQ from all of us.

It's called blind pick and yeah i agree, tho you cannot see what picks the enemy has

The best thing about this idea is that it renders roles moot and frees up the hero development team to not be bogged down by pretty obsolete role rules

I'm pretty much done taking qm semi-seriously. I'd highly prefer to go unranked as a group but for now, I think I'll play auto select if we go qm. I had fun yesterday playing on auto because instead of tryharding I just rolled with it. Was nice trying out Zeratul in a no pressure environment.

Oh snap just noticed that. 990 looks good. Wonder if it rolls over at 1000 or keeps showing the count now after the change?

Also, the borders have changed. Color is a little different and it has some style to it. Don't think that was supposed to happen til later in the leveling system. Was wondering why they pushed it so far back when I've only seen 3 or 4 more people in 100+ games now who are higher level than me and Milly and we are still shy of 1k.

Who did? The players? Yeah, in general they've been less toxic. The shit their owner and PR (maybe former PR now, I can't remember) has done and said isn't something anyone should want around, though. He's likely only gone so quiet because they are so bad.

They need to just restrict UR/TL/HL to the HGC pool + Hanamura while rotating the QM maps every week w/ a smaller group (6 is actually a good number if you rotate it every week.)

PR guy quit and the owner stopped talking shit. NA needs sponsors, NVT always seemed decent monetary wise.

1 week delay for HGC is a billion times better than the 2-week one they were going w/. Things are still fresh enough that you aren't struggling to remember whats different than live.

Why'd they nerf tryande's Q so much. I've only played her like twice but her heal already felt like it was the weakest heal out of every healer I've played by faaaar, it felt so useless.

they wanted to make her more offensive, so they toned down her heal and gave some auto attack talents

Her healing is more like it used to be before they changed her to work in QM. She's now more offensive in exchange...more hunter, if you will.

Because she was not intended to be a healer. She was originally designed as an aggresive secondary hybrid support like Tassadar, Zarya, Medivh, Abathur, etc. and that's the role she's been returned to. You aren't meant to solo heal w/ her - if you notice, the healing is gone on her U1.

They need to do a widespread classification rework (the descriptions now have a totally different system than the 4 roles) but because it's tied into the current quest system, it's something that's coming "eventually" instead of son.

I think in hindsight they'd do it a lot different. Like putting Medivh as Specialist when he launched was one of the best things they could do for him, but ideally Supports like he and Tyrande et al would be more the norm than the big healing supports if I had my way. I used to not feel that way, but I think it might be better overall.

He probably locked the team itself up for the year on new contracts prior to HGC cause everyone thought they'd still be good, so yeah I doubt he's going anywhere. Still maintain I wouldn't be sad if he did.

If I had my druthers I'd really like to see Zuna go somewhere where he's not the established voice and see if he can recapture the magic.

oh btw I got a Cho'Gall earlier who had to have been solo queing because they kept insulting each other and calling each other noob and shit, like one wanted to go one way and the other didnt...

...it was the most fucking meta thing I've ever seen

Man D.Va is awkward to use. Damage is pitiful in mech, range is pretty short in pilot but the damage is good. Alarak is bad news bears for you trying to use your matrix.

Her dps in pilot form is supposed to be the best in the game (i think i read that somewhere?) so i imagine she'll be popping e when trying to rush down bosses and stuff

So I've been playing this a lot more since 2.0 launched and have been trying to do more outside research on heroes and how to play. I know there are a few sites to get guides and builds, but is there a go to place for detailed hero guides. Talents are good and all, but I also like to read "how to" info, etc. Help me turn my gold into... Well probably more gold, but I'd still like to learn!
