Okay, I finally understood what you people meant with T2. I never understood why bay would be bitching about Terminator 2. Let's get something straight here, Transformers 2 should NEVER EVER EVER be abbreviated as T2. The correct acronym should be TF2. Transformers should not be put anywhere near the Terminator trilogy.

thats certainly a possibility and jives with what one of the insiders on AVS is claiming (though, most AVS insiders arent really insiders at all). Its pure speculation just like mine is.

Point being: None of us know what the details of this deal are. period.

Sony has Starship Troopers in North America. The Blu-ray has been delayed once or twice, though.

I would assume there are also get-out clauses built in which would terminate the deal for certain situations before the 18-months is up.

hey GAFers, just wanted to let ya'll know since my 360 is dead and its going to be 6 weeks before I get it back, Ive decided to part ways with my add-on and move my HD watching to the XA2 in the home theater and remove movie watching from the living room altogether.

Ive got it on ebay now, but will part ways with it for 100 bucks to fellow gaffers. The 5 free movie + KK + 300 deal is still probably better, but if you just want the player its the cheapest way to get it.

Just pre-ordered the spidey blu set from amazon,with the extra 10% off I got it for $58.49,not bad at all.

Too bad the 3rd movie is in the set,it would have been even cheaper :(

Warner was always the true-neutral company, going so far as to create those dumb Total HD discs.

I honestly don't see how they could switch, especially after the aftermath that occurred with Paramount.

Warner always seemed to be the "hey guys lets just all get along" type of peeps, delaying some movies to allow the BDJ spec to match the extras of the HD-DVD version (usually). Plus with the recent 300 sales giving BD the large victory...what kind of press release could they possibly print up?

But it'll be great to see them try. :lol

I went on some HD forums to see what peeps have to say about Warner...and now I'm finding threads that are saying Universal will go BD exclusive by the end of the month.

You know, I think I'll just go in that corner over there and cry until it's all over.

I know this much. If this rumor isn't bullshit and Microsoft buys off Hollywood, I'll pirate every movie I see before I give one penny to MS or the studios.

If Warner go HD DVD exclusive then the war will be at a stalemate unless they are gonna drop payola on every studio. Blu-Ray camp better be loading up their on payola trucks if they want a glimpse of victory.


After the Paramount deal came out of nowhere, With all the rumors flying around they better atleast try and drop some payola.

There are times when it is peaceful and people talk about PQ/AQ, give advice about movies. Those were the good times.

Anyway if this is true about Warner, I would pretty much be done with the format war outside of a select few titles. I have already decided to start buying less. This would pretty much bring it to netflix only.
