Latest news:
I can dump cartridges (assumming 0x1000 to 0x4000 does not contain valueable data).
I can run code on the ARM7 (in DS mode).

Or...MARIO PAINT!!!

If they can't run the ROM they can't run any homebrew stuff either. So what is the point in showing it can be done?demi said:I don't think the whole point was to play it [rolleyes], I think it was just to show that it could be done?
Milhouse31 said:So the piece of news going aroung about him booting Metroid Prime must be false. But if he can run ARM7 code in DS mode, that (propably) means he has access to all the DS functionallity.
Maybe you missed the bit where people said that the ROMs could be played on a flash card inserted into a GBA slot?mumu said:So the ROM is dumped but cannot be played anywhere? Whoa fucking great ... not.
maybe you missed the part where they said the ARM7 code ran, but not the ARM9 code...border said:Maybe you missed the bit where people said that the ROMs could be played on a flash card inserted into a GBA slot?
Stryder said:This is stupid, it wouldn't feel nearly as fun to play these games with your PC/mouse/tablet/mic etc.
Just go out and buy a DS
Also, if this is true that MP:Hunters was booted from the GBA cart/slot, I don't think this would happen with a lot of games because of space limitations on the flash carts.
