I don't believe you(Ron Burgundy voice). But wait, really? Can she grab ledges even if they don't have yellow marks as long as she can reach it? I've been seeing some tall, building-like structures and I would really love to scale them.

In Skyrim you needed to use your horse to get up anything too steep, you'll likely need to do the same with the wildlife/robots to achieve the same in Horizon.

I don't know about grabbing an unmarked ledge but she can climb quite a bit of stuff.

You know what? I don't mind people coming in to threads for games like this and not liking what they see, but when they come in here spouting stuff that is just not fact, like for example not getting the robodinos to fight for you (which you can), or how it takes itself too serious (haven't even played the full game, there could well be some light heartedness), that type of stuff just rubs me the wrong way. At least come in and go against things that the game doesn't do well, there's stuff in there that you can discuss about that doesn't look good or that maybe you don't find fun, but the rest of the stuff either wait and see or don't spout them as fact when in actuality it isn't true. It just feels like a whole bunch of reaching to me, maybe I'm wrong.

You should have just kept it like

Trying to break the hex ;P

I was thinking the same thing when I read his post!

But is it really an RPG?

There's no actual stats and even if there is, you can't change them. So no, it's not an RPG.

No, you are not wrong. You are right on point.

Hoping we get some info on when review copies go out and when the review embargo is. The release date is pretty much going to sneak up on me with how enamored I am by Nioh.

And I am so damn okay with that. From Nioh straight into Horizon. Should be great.

One thing I hope about the crafting is that it's quick to understand what materials you need to craft the items you want. I'm about 5 hours into ROTTR right now and I still get confused what it is that I'm collecting is used for.

The review embargo for another first party game, Uncharted 4, lifted 5 days before release, so that should give us a rough estimate as to when the embargo for Horizon lifts.

As for review copies, I'd guess they'll go out a week or so before the embargo lifts, given that this is, by all accounts, a massive RPG. For comparison, The Witcher 3 review copies went out 11 days before the embargo lifted (which was a week before release).

Not insinuating that Horizon is the size of TW3 or anything, just comparing it to one of the contemporaries within its genre.

Jesus!!!!! I cannot wait to play this game on my Ps4 pro and Ks8000. The more I see of this game the more I want. This is the only game I've ever bought a collectors edition for. Even Uncharted 4 didn't do it. I only got the limited edition or steel book edition.

While this game looks breathtaking when it is still, the game's animation looks very stiff and wooden in motion. Uncharted 4 spoiled me with its amazing animation.
