The only thing I'm still wondering about is the RS that appeared breifly. Remember Nerdy McDoofus with that "HD-DVD" he was holding? RS was on that, too.

Edit:
As for the 30 seconds DVD, I believe it meant after 30 seconds, the DVD was in memory so that it doesn't need to load from it at all.
