How can anyone eat more than 2 pieces of fried chicken?

Every once in a whole I buy a whole rotisseree chicken for dinner on my way home from work. I can get through half a chicken tops (with a bit of sides).

Fuck, you can plow through 4x what I can! Beast mode.
 
Rotisserie chickens are nasty, low quality fare. I buy two, usually small chickens, combine them with potatoes and roast them in the oven for ~2 hours.

Chicken meat is very lean, no need to worry about overdosing.
 
I can definitely put down some KFC or Popeye's . I pretty much only buy sides just so I don't over eat the chicken and leave some for the next day ..

It definitely gets harder as you get older.

The fries and that thick biscuit are what do me in. I also have to take some of the skin off these days.

What I find really hard to believe are the folks that bring Popeyes in to the office for lunch. It's damn near trolling, and how do you even keep your area clean?
 
Where I am from, chili is a condiment and we cook a whole chicken for every 2 guest.

Weird thing is, none of us are really overweight.
 
There is very little better than a wood smoked Turkey Leg.

Often, we have these Street Fairs during the summer, I get one of those huge legs, find a corner in some dark alley and rip that shit apart and use my shirt as a napkin.

Then get on the train and go home.

Dave's Hot Chicken is a local joint in the Korea Town part Los Angeles. It is as good as advertised. There are often lines of an hour just to get food. But I shit you not, there sauce when combined with honey, is the most interesting and addictive sauce I have ever had.

One more thing, it can be the hottest chicken i ever had. I mean almost too hot. So I get medium.

I love places like that. There's a "local, hour long line" place in every town and they are all awesome
 
This is probably because OP has only had, at least most often, fast food chemically enhanced fried chicken instead of home cooked goodness.
 
btw KFC doesn't count. It's old, dehydrated, desiccated, rotten, low quality chicken coated in cheap seasoning batter designed to mask the compromised meat. Now let us never speak of it again.
