How did Mario recover from the Me 2 movement? hes an offender

I tried my very best and managed 51 seconds. It's not funny, it's doesn't make a point, and the only description I can give the "performance" is insufferable.

I recall Anita Sarkeesian's first video. She talked about how Peach being saved was a bad thing because it made her a trophy and not a person, or something to that effect. That was the moment I realised Sarkeesian was irredeemable and had nothing valid to say. I remember even debating this point with a young colleague of mine and saying it was a load of nonsense. If Mario cares enough to go through all that it's probably safe to assume there is a pre-existing relationship of some kind, especially when he is greeted by name by every NPC that says something. To infer that Peach is just a trophy is the problem of the person doing the inferring, not Nintendo or anyone else.

God yeah. I hate what she has done to gaming so much. In my mind, the idea of "rescuing the princess" was not about them being a trophy, it was about caring so much for someone that you're willing to go through the perils to rescue them. Same type of story could be done if it was a mother or father going after their child. She infected the world with her bull shit, and I saw it outside of just the internet. I was once turned down by a girl because I liked video games. Not because they're juvenile, but because she said she wasn't a princess that needed rescuing. I blame Sarkeesian. Such a fucking cunt.

It's not really saying that Mario is an offender though. They're using Mario as a humoristic metaphor to talk about real issues people experience. People do this all the time with pop culture (with or without the social critique). Like, you can talk about how the wizards of Harry Potter love having their house elf slaves. Everyone knows that is not how we are supposed to understand it, but its funny to view it through a lens where its pretty fucked up. Doesn't mean you hate Harry Potter though.

Can't say that I'm into slam poetry but the "fire breathing turtle fuck" line was pretty good.

They also get into a class warfare thing where she is rich and he is blue collar. I thought that was a no no.

Just look how much happier women are nowadays, now that they are portrayed across all media as strong humorless girlbosses who don't need no man. What a great improvement for the lives of women and for humanity as a whole.

Their was only one prize but she was in another castle.
Their are plenty of deposable guys going through obstacles in order to obtain.
 
What the fuck is me too and why are folks worried? I'll preface by saying I don't go to websites online but this one and I have no social media. I also still do work for the DoD and go overseas quite often, maybe I missed it.
