How early do you wake up for work?

My typical shift is 830-530. I'll wake up at 7:45, leave at around 8:15 at the latest and always make it on time. I shower the night before, so I always wake up about 30-45 minutes before my shift start. Brush my teeth, get dressed, and head out.

I work a 9/80 schedule (Get every other Friday off), so I get up at 5am and get to work about 6am Monday - Thurs..I leave work at 330 if I take a half hour lunch. On working Fridays, I leave at 230.

Depends. I have no set entry time. I'll wake at 715am but keep snoozing. Today I woke at 8 and got to the office at 9.

My girlfriend gets up at 6, wakes me up at 6:15, and I'm at work by 7. I get home around 4, and try to be in bed by 10. I used to be a night owl, but I feel a lot more productive getting up that early

545/6 for an 8am start. Good quick mornings I come in early around 730, otherwise shortly before 8. Work until 5 or 6 every day depending on what my manager wants that day.

I wake up Monday-Friday for work at 3am.

My shift is 5am-2pm. Getting off earlier than everyone else and during office hours is nice, but honestly waking up this early is brutal. My main gripe is that I'm going to sleep just at the beginning of primetime television every night, so I rarely watch things live. If I wanna stay up for a game or something it's like a big deal that I have to plan for. I'm in central time btw.

How bout you GAF, you like your schedule?

Similar to you, OP. I get up at 4am for a 5am start. The pay isn't worth it and I'm just about ready to quit the second something better comes up, and I'm actively looking.

These sorts of hours are especially tough in the summer. It's still light out when I have to go to bed, and dark when I get up for work. I want to wake up when the sun is out, in the summer at least.

4:45am. Read/meditate for an hour or so then get started around 6-6:30. Work from home and like afternoons and evenings for personal stuff, more reading, gym, or gaming.

Hate waking up early and love staying up late so it's the best for me, can go to sleep at 4am and still manage 6 hours of sleep, no traffic going to or coming from work
sucks on friday nights when I'm hours late to whatever everyone's up to though

Some of you guys work some long hours.

I wake up between 6.30am and 7am depending on how late i ended up sleeping. Out the door by 7-7.30am, 90 minute commute get to work around 9.

Have a short half hour lunch and leave work at around 5pm, get home by 6.30-6.45pm

Occasionally I shift it and work 9.30-5.30pm, leaving slightly later cuts my commute down by quite alot.

Get up at 6.20, work at 7.30, finish around 6pm. I'm a teacher, so I have long holidays when I get up around 8.30 or whenever. Makes it a lot easier to deal with the early starts in term time.

Wake up at 9.. Don't have to be at work until 330.. So nice to chill in bed for an hour or so watching TV before having to get up to go to the gym.

I am not big on routine, so it varies dramatically.

I average getting up at around probably 4:00 am to be at work by 8:00. I am a teacher though, so I have a lot to get done before school starts.

I'm usually "awake" at 4am, sometimes earlier. I don't actually get out of bed until 6am though. I have my alarm set to 4am for the gym which I religiously turn off every morning and continue watching YouTube videos or surfing the internet on my phone. I'm much more active in those early hours on my days off, funnily enough. It's like i subconsciously think if I don't get out of bed I won't have to go to work so I stay there until the last minute on work days. Have to be to work at 7am.

6AM every morning, at work by 7AM. Used to hate mornings, now that I'm used to them I only hate them slightly less.

Sleep at 12AM, Wake up at 6:30 or 7 depending on where I am.

Leave home at 7:30 or 8AM to get to work for 9AM (have to commute to London some days).

I prefer staying up later.

7:45 am. Get to work at 9. Should leave at 5 pm and get home around 6. So about 10 hours dedicated to working or getting to work.

I'm salaried so I don't really work set hours, but I try to get in the office by 8:30 AM and leave by 5 PM.

Luckily my commute is only about 15 minutes, so I don't wake up until 7:45 AM.

I'm fine with my schedule, though the short commute certainly helps that. Being home by 5:30 every day is solid.

I get up between 4:30-5:30 AM, play video games or do some work for an hour, then leave for work by 5:30-6:30 AM. I get to work by 6:15-7:15 AM. There are some mornings I get to work as late as 7:30 AM and other mornings I get into work as early as 5:50 AM. I usually stay at work until 3:30 PM at the bare minimum but a couple nights a week I'll stay as late as 5:30-6:30 PM. I usually go into work for a couple hours on most weekends and also do some light reading or writing related to my work maybe 2 evenings a week.

I work from 8:30AM - 5:00PM and normally wake up around 4:30AM. I used start work at 6:30am for many years so my body is already used to waking up extra early.

Now, why do I wake up so early?

Well.....because it is literally the only time in the 24 hours of the day that I can sit down by myself in front of a TV to watch something uninterrupted or play a few hours on my PS4 or PC.

Husband and father, with a full-time job... no time to myself anymore, pretty much ever. I get what I can take. Games+TV Time > Sleep

I don't really have a "shift" per say; usually my earliest meetings are 10:30AM. I try to get in by 9 every day, 9:30 isn't abnormal, anything after that I'll IM and say I'm running late.

Occasionally I get up earlier, but most days 8AM works.

I work from home in Oregon for a company on the East Coast, so I get up at 4:45 a.m., and work from 5 a.m.-2 p.m. I'm in bed by 9 p.m.

Usually wake up around 6:30, grab coffee around 7:45 and get to work by 9:00am. I generally try to leave no later than 4:30pm but will stay later if I have projects to finish, meetings, etc.

I wake up at at 7:00 am. In the morning if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now.

After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub.

Then, I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Then, finally, I go to work
