How important is IQ and FPS to you to enjoy a game?

I'll take whatever IQ I can get as long as I'm getting at least 60fps.
Excited Lets Go GIF

I always prioritize frame rate over IQ, but I very much dislike unstable wavy or shimmery images. I'd probably just turn a game off if I had to look at those kinds of artifacts.

Resolution really depends on what you're playing it on and how it's rendered, when I boot up the PS3 it looks fine to me and those games are 720p with the exception of the games that are sub 720p
Yet some games this generation and last gen look like shit when the base resolution is 1080p or 900p, I really don't get it.
Either way I expect it to look solid and not blurry.
Framerate I just expect to be stable, fighting game and racing I expect to be 60fps
I don't get those that sacrifice so much IQ just to get 60fps, some of the performance modes look like shit, yet people preferably play them 😂
The combination of smooth vaseline is probably the worst, it's like those upscaled 60fps videos you see on YouTube, fucking horrible.

I don't care that much if a game has Raytracing or none. If there is Raytracing, I'm thankful. If none, it is still okay as long as there is good IQ and stable frame rate.

For me, IQ and stable frame rate, and let me add, good physics and interactivity with the environment are the three most important elements in game.

Doesn't have to look hyper crisp, nor reach 4k resolution.
I am ok with 1080p as long as I can use AA. No aa with 1080p is kind of a bummer but not an absolute deal breaker.
It's not ideal.

Framerate wise, 30fps is OK on very few types of games but perfect frame pacing is an ABSOLUTE MUST.
I will always pick 60 over 30 literally every time if given the option.
Even if the IQ takes a bump in loss.

I go from a 55" OLED CX 120hz at home to a 1080p 50hz cheap monitor at work daily. It makes a HUGE difference even with the same game at the same settings besides resolution. So yes, for sure.

We've come to an age where graphics has diminishing returns, and my PC can run more or less everything maxed at 165 Hz @ 1440p.

Ngl I would go down from ultra to high if it meant better framerate.

It's not only about the framerate itself makes it look better, it's also because of input latency, which I am very sensitive to.

Also a reason why I always toggle v sync off and use g sync

FPS is considerably more important to me.

But that wont automatically deter me from playing games I generally enjoy like Bloodborne or BotW
