How would you design Metroid Prime 4?

Third person Battle Royale that focuses on gadgets and logistics.

Slap Metroid Prime on that puppy and watch it sell more than all the other Metroid games combined.
 
Multiple planets to explore with planets turning from lava to ice world's as we move away from sun.

Progression based on finding items that will allow landing and surviving more extreme planets. (Hot and cold)

With finale set on Phazon infected planet.
 
Nintendo should have asked this before the 1st time they started development of MP4.

It would be interesting to see if they take any of the lessons from BotW into MP4. I could really go for a 3rd person open-world game if they could design a planet in an interesting way and properly gating off areas until the required upgrades. Or take some of the tech from Star Citizen and give us multiple planets to travel too with vastly distinct biomes. There's a lot of possibilities with the franchise. Hell, it's gonna be interesting to see how Halo Infinite is when it releases, as Prime, while following it's own unique design and mantras, was def. trying to compete with Halo. And if Infinite has some great ideas, Prime could expand on them.

I would sit the developers in the room, make them play Metroid Prime and say "Ok, do that but better. Take your time and coffee is for closers.".
 
Would a BOTW approach work in anyone's opinion? A decent sized open world with dungeons? Not sure. Going to hard to top Metroid prime.
