It doesn't have to have a minigame attached to it as long as the story is mature and engaging.
The more voice acting and animated scenes the better, but if not thats okay. I don't mind reading.
Who would have thought there would be any overlap between the sorts of people who play and enjoy VNs with hot anime babes and people who whine about SJWs. I am shocked. I always thought I could depend on the fact that a person who likes kawaii-ass hotties with oversized bedroom eyes would not have a chip on their shoulder about feminists because they got rejected in high school. I'll be honest. I could not care less about politics, swj, gg, or discussions about the developer. I enjoy the games I enjoy. But! I'm gonna pass on this game, because the lack of a resolution and ability to pursue a relationship with a girl is a deal breaker for me. Just having sex with each girl is too shallow for me. So, thank you all of you who discussed the game mechanics and storyline. I appreciate it

Though I do think it's odd people are calling Huniepop a VN. It has like 10 minutes of text reading and no narration. It's a puzzle game/dating sim hybrid.

The puzzle stuff is surprisingly good. Beyond that, the game feels a bit content starved. The pics that exist are decent, but lack context, and the bedroom stages are WAY too annoying, it feels like pure luck to clear any of them. Just keep matching until you get a massive chain reaction, but the inability to take a breather hurts it.

Same. I'd love to get to actually see Aiko's browser history, or talk more about Jessie's job or the problems with her daughter, maybe get the two to mend their relationship, or go on a galactic voyage with Celeste to fight tentacle monsters.

You just go to the beach at night with the Strange Item in your active inventory and when you go to leave an event is triggered.

You can unlock hairstyles and outfits, and if you give enough unique gifts, it's an easy way to get tons of Hunie. Max out the food and alcohol gauges and just talk. For nearly 2000 Hunie a piece. Also, dating a 5-heart girl will not increase the difficulty of the next date, so it's a freebie for when you need Munie.
But other than that, no.
