I believe in Phil Spencer

Phil isn't just doing a job. He's doing the lord's work. Bless that man.

I,.......just don't understand why you would think these were all solely his ideas.....

Just because he's presenting them does not mean he was the main one who brainstormed the idea and made it come to life. I'll give credit where credit is due but this is a reach for something that has trains of people who ultimately made these ideas and or changes. Phil is a great guy but I just don't believe that he was 100% the Trojan horse for a lot of these decision...

Full forward compatibility? Did you mean backward compatibility? Or is the Xbox going to scale back resolution etc on titles designed for the more powerful hardware? Or are devs going to program for the lowest common denominator but allow the versions with superior power to upscale the res/increase frame rate/add effects?

I think this is worth watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTEVKp4hVuI

I read it as just like your phone games carry forward to the next model.

I was using Phil as a talking point for the current state and vision from the Xbox team.

Phil, the guy who killed Xbox?... at least for me ;)
I've just ordered PC parts yesterday. Good bye cruel peasantry, hello Master Race.

You believe in Santa and Easter rabbit now too? because the contribution from Phil to improve Xbox brand and the existence of Santa and the rabbit are same.

In this day and age you need a face for you company and Phil does a good job in that aspect. Personally I like him, his interviews are good and he connects to his audience via Twitter.

We off course don't know what he really thinks or has done internally in the past years. As a PC gamer myself, I find PC gamers always overreacting, I have faith in Phil. ;)
Can't wait for FH3 on PC.

I love him too.

He is my favorite person in the business.

Remember that one time he wrote: "I promise"? I never felt so warm inside. And that other time he wrote that he'd love to do unreasonable fan idea #542? Such a gallant man in this age of no gentleman.

I believe in Phill Spencer!

If you are reading this Phill, and I know you only have so much time with so many XBOX fans around the world to attend too, I want you to know that I love you, and that my heart will always pump green for you.

Cheers mate.

You'd hope one could see a game wasn't coming together too well after a number of years. Would have preferred he just cancelled Fable Legends years ago, and had Lionhead work on something else instead. Wasted opportunity.

If Xbox had the right heads someone would have pushed them towards making a proper Fable title after the Fable: The Journey fiasco.

But I bet that no executive had anything to do with the studios Kinect focus and "games as a service" focus.

The problems started with Fable 3. They should have used Peter's departure as their reboot moment, to go back to the drawing board and reinvigorate the franchise, instead we got Heroes, Journey and nearly got F2P Heroes in 1080p...

Wow, I thought this was just a joke going around in the last thread. People actually believe Lionhead had the final word in the decision to make a fucking Kinect and MOBA Fable over a traditional one? Really?

I'm just saying man. I'm just saying.

Listen. I'm just saying.

What's to hate about Spencer? He's done nothing but good things. People are quick to criticized every word he says. I've enjoyed what he's done and excited for future plans.
