Is it a new meme that many images are like cut in two or is it from my computer?
I'm seriously confused
Computer issues. I believe Chrome was having this problem.
EDIT-Damn, I was apparently pretty slow.

With so much good content on Radio 4 or 5 (Kermode :3), I feel weird turning to Radio 1. It's like "what's going over here..." but it all sounds the same to me.
I prefer non-pop music. I like Pop-GAF more than I like pop.
First, you know that there is more to interpretive ability than just "hitting the notes." Second, you know that merely "being able to sing the notes" is well beyond the technical ability of many, ahem, vocalists in pop music. And third, her point was that in many cases they aren't responsible for those choices in delivery and interpretation because those choices are producer-driven. I think Fugu probably overestimates how common this is, but I don't think it is completely without merit.
whoa dereI find Hip-HopGAF to be worse, myself.
I browse pop gaf almost once every week. Sometimes the gifs are funny, sometimes they're not. The only consistent thing is the ridiculously unfunny way everyone there writes. Every time I say to me that i'll never again read the pop-gaf thread because of that, but the next week I'm there. No, I don't even like pop music, I don't know why I do this to myself. It reminds me of soccer fans having "discussions" where they're just yelling at each other, using scores as the best arguments to defend their favorite teams. When their team is losing is like "they'll come back, I know. They did it in 1976, they can do it again!". Instead of scores, pop gaf use charts and itunes sales. Instead of the crappy team that hasn't win a single game in years, there's Christina flopping and their stans swearing she'll come back.
At first, I though pop-gaf would have more interesting discussions, even if I don't like that music, there's something about the pop industry that I find utterly fascinating. It's a disappointment that discussions never go into something a little bit more interesting. I have to admit that when pop gaf is funny it's really funny, but most of the times it's just 2 full pages of reposts, always the same gif and the magical quote I've seen like a million times there: "You tried, tho". I can't help but think that. Pop-gaf, recently you've been unfunny. You tried, tho.

So what happened the last couple of pages, has POPGAF finally come to accept PSY as the modern saviour of pop?

I'm a film student and Kermode is my god, but I guess I'm still young enough that Radio 1 is my go to station for music (I'm 22). With that said, I do listen to Radio 2 now and if I want music more often than not I just go with the iPod in my car...

I completely disagree.
I mean, just in the last week or so we had Leona's excellent Halcyon review, my review of RED, and my writeups on Diplo, Elle Varner and ZZ Ward. Not to mention Aguila's impeccable OP and the hordes of snippets and rumors that get posted DAILY.
And we're only just a little over 1000 posts into OT3.
There's plenty of music discussion there for people who actually care to look, and not just pretend to look for the sake of padding an uninformed post.
Being better than Lady Gaga isn't very hard.

Radio 6 is the best music station for students. None of the bollocks music of Radio 1 or commercial stations, whilst still keeping it healthily modern. It also has the best DJs, who aren't in love with themselves and generally seem to know what they're talking about (Lauren Laverne <3).
Unfortunately, it's digital only.
Sis it was shade.
Better than Ellie Goulding.
What the hell do you people like?!
You know who's worse? People who listen to Tool.
And like them.
With Moyles finally gone (I had been listening to him for the last ten years, pretty much, before he got the breakfast gig) there's now not many DJs I can say I honestly like on Radio 1.![]()
I doubt I'll stick with it for much longer.
But Pop Gaf likes Whitney too.
Janelle Monea shade? Better be careful
![]()
Seriously. This isn't all that other fluff, Monae's some next-level shit.
What an amazing post, Robido.
Educate them

Yeah, really. Metropolis and The Archandroid are perfection.
And I thought she'd release a new album this year. In fact, she'd release a double album. But I haven't heard anything new surrounding it![]()
Following rock music has taught me that if an artist talks about working on a new album in the 18 months after their last one came out, they're talking out their arse and it'll take way longer than they said. This is another example of such.
