Tom Cruise.

Okay, before you all want to kill me, please bear with me. I just watched Collaterl last nite by Michael Mann. This is another urban crime saga very similar to Heat which was also directed by Michael. This is an awesome movie. I love how Michael Mann has a keen eye on urban lighting speically neon lights. Anyway, back to the topic.

On the second disc, the making of feature shows Tom doing CQC combat training. Tom had long hair which is almost mullet like and he also had beard. He looks very much like Snake in those videos. Also, I think his body build is very similar to Snake. He is not huge but very strong and agile. You can tell from some of the shooting scenes in the movie. The only problem I see with him playing Snake is his voice which is not raspy at all. Okay, lets discuss.

Certainly would probably help box office, but Cruise seems a bit short.

I doubt he'd accept a Metal Gear movie though, even if the script was good. Not unless someone really great was directing it.

I've never considered Tom Cruise as Solid Snake, but I wouldn't mind, I like him. Beware, this thread will get showered with haterade.
