I never finished Sanitarium, but I played quite a bit and from what I remember if was fucking weird but in a good way.Sanitarium is vastly better than the overwhelming majority of "adventure games" that you can play on modern consoles.
Steam does too with achievements lolDoesn't gog have Sanitarium? I will have to see if I have it. I had it on disc long ago.
It kind of plays off the idea of what is real?
Even when they didn't, like in The Terminator?Harlan was very litigious. He did not put up with Hollywood ripping him off.
Beautifully written full page paragraphs. If anyone wants to read this horrifying shortstory...Here you go
Its a 15-20 minutes read. It is probably in my top 5 most shocking stuff I've read/heard, and I'm a huge scary story junkie. I've listen to about 1500 creepypastas till now.
I'd replay this in a heartbeat. I love that game. I'd even play Darkseed 1 & 2 again. Those havent even hit Gog yet!
yes, hence people who enjoy a quality game would appreciate it.Sanitarium is vastly better than the overwhelming majority of "adventure games" that you can play on modern consoles.
There are a bunch of SCUMM games on consoles, including Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle. Monkey Island was released on the Mega CD even, and has received new entries on recent consoles. If you have PS+, you can try the latest one IIRC.I can see this on touch screen Switch but on gamepad consoles?
It's still playable, of course you could move the cursor much faster using a mouse, but for me it's not an issue as long as the game isn't forcing me to act quickly to complete some interaction.I can see this on touch screen Switch but on gamepad consoles?
Lol of course Nightdive just didn't fix it. Just an emulated port.Heads up, the port seems to be bugged. I made some manual saves during Benny's chapter and my character was gone from the screen after reloading them. I would've been fucked if I didn't have the "chapter select" save. Replaying the whole chapter without saving is still better than replaying the whole game. It still sucks, because you can't experiment with different scenario endings.
Edit: So after a bit of googling it seems to be a (major) bug from the original release, affecting various characters, not only Benny. I really don't like when a newer version doesn't fix that stuff, Grim Fandango Remastered also had a serious bug with one of the bugged puzzles.
