Don't you want to wait a few weeks and see what happens with 5850/5870 pricing? Besides, I thought you mentioned selling your current card and just going with a single 5850.
Is the system pre-built? Just Googling it should give you most of the specs and you can even find exact breakdowns of each part if you look around.
Another option would be to use hardware reporting programs like the following.

The last program may not be as well know as the first two, but it's from the same people behind CCleaner, Piriform. I actually recommend trying it out. You'll get temp readings of your CPU, GPU, and HDDs. Along with model numbers, bios, chipset and revision versions, you also get fairly thorough breakdowns of your HDDs and ram (health, timing, etc.).[/QUOTE]
