I could use some guidance and advice please.

Since I got my 9070XT I need to get the rest of my new build. I'll be honest: I was not expecting a near £2k build. The current list is mostly just popular parts from PCPP, so this is where the refinement comes in.

Usage overview
1440p gaming, very little else. Dual boot of W11/Linux. Current monitors are 180hz, no 4K TV. I like the idea of efficiency, not raw power. Will undervolt the GPU for certain, haven't thought about the rest.

Current thoughts
CPU
Might be overkill. Need to check benchmarks. I'm torn because I stuck with my Intel CPU for 12 years so a good CPU is an investment there, but with AMD I could always upgrade a few years from now if needed. Is 9800X3D £150 better than 9700X? 7800X3D is essentially pointless, if I'm going to spend £390 I might as well spend the extra £60 for 9800X3D.

Cooler If it does the job without being loud I'm happy. I've heard of Peerless Assassin. Current is a 212 Evo.

Mobo Most help needed here. Not sure who's good and who isn't, but I know some have had issues (ASRock maybe?). These are all much more expensive than I expected.

Memory Current is Corsair LP, so threw Corsair in again. But I don't want RGB so happy to pick a reasonably priced yet reliable alternative. I also want to find recommended/compatible RAM that doesn't cause the minute long post times, that would annoy me.

Storage The logic behind 2x P3 is a W11 drive and a Linux drive with plenty of room for game installs on the Linux drive. With FSR4 not being on Linux yet maybe I could hold off until a sale. Thinking about it, 1TB for W11 seems more than enough for a system drive. MX500x2 are ~1 year old drives that will come with me and currently are a dedicated games drive and an all purpose data drive. Might need to have a think about this.

Case Will probably swap out if this doesn't have dust filters. Current is Fractal R4.

PSU I want reliable and quiet. I vaguely remember advice being to aim for about half capacity at load, which this doesn't achieve with ~250W to spare, but I don't know if that's legitimate advice.
