S Sanjuro Member Jan 14, 2009 #1 I'm having a terribly hard time doing this. I need to do THIS. I've downloaded an ISO which puts me in DOS but it will only read off of the disc. I've tried to burn it by adding the .exe file to the ISO but no luck with that as well.

N Numbers Member Jan 14, 2009 #2 Could you try booting from DOS on a flash drive with the .exe file on it as well?
S Sanjuro Member Jan 14, 2009 #3 I don't have a USB flash drive but I have a memory stick. Maybe I'll give that a shot.

S Sanjuro Member Jan 14, 2009 #7 Bumping up. This is driving me insane now. I can get a boot disc and enter DOS of some sort. I've tried adding the .exe to the image no dice. Someone here has to have done this.

Schrade Member Jan 15, 2009 #8 Buy a USB Flash Drive. You don't even need a large one. You can use the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool to format it and make it show up as a hard drive. You can use FreeDOS files to make it DOS bootable.
