IGN: PDZ Hands-On

Im just saying if ign says there are framerate problems and "sega kid" says there isnt most likely sega kid is lying.

Can't say, I'm not in Amsterdam (dammit) and the only X05 games I've seen/played are The Outfit and Saint's Row. That said...trolling is trolling, and posting a cute pic of Kojima with a smiley face doesn't work for me. At least put some effort into it, people!

That direct feed doesn't look all that good. No gameplay either, and the cutscenes look very average. Don't know what to say, because Rare always has come through on graphics at the least.

Kameo simply *****slaps this.

So I take that just thew in some audio with some random clips? Some crazy visual artifacts that look like what I see when I overclock my graphics card. Im surprised they would release this.
 
wtf happened to her face? that face looks totally different (and worse) than the face in the recently leaked vids and all the latest mag pics. It's like they are reverting her face back to the wallguy era. Haven't seen the vid yet, but that pic is not good.

edit// actually looking back at the vids, it doesn't really show her face... i guess i just assumed she would look like the pic in the magazine articles.
 
I've been pretty positive about PDZ in the past but... I'm not impressed with that video. It looked cool, just not... what it could be.
 
Really not good. In fact, it actually makes me feel bad for all the people working on this title. Obviously, something has gone very wrong. Microsoft should seriously look at pulling the plug. PDZ will do more harm than good for the 360.
 
ok. i was the video. VERY BAD... and it's not so much the graphics. The presentation and voice acting were totally lame. Plus that face...

REALDOLL has better lighting (not to mention, realistic um "physics").

I cannot believe that MS is selling this game is the Halo for Xbox360. I really want some of that stuff that those guys are smoking. If Rare wanted to the engine to be cartoony, so be it. But they should have invested in getting better artists at least.
 
That's awful, pretty much everything from the terrible voice acting to the animation where she rolls, just screams meh. Not to mention the rather awkward looking way the guy falls from the bridge, just looks plain weird. This needs a delay and by the looks of things a rather long one.

PGR3 should be their focus for launch, not this. Quietly sweep this under the carpet for about 6 months and bring it up to scratch. The 360 will sell out over the holidays regardless, a great PD game in March or so would be a a 2nd launch. I'll keep my fingers crossed for this one.
