Yet another device designed to remove even more muscle mass from the already emaciated, hard-working American youth.
There is nothing worse than being comfortable in bed on a freezing cold night and having to get up to turn off the console.

Leatherface said:Love the shoulder button/trigger combo. nice controller.

Easily my favorite ever.
Before that, the little Genesis six button.

Pedigree Chum said:You can turn it on with it too. So you could get up in the morning, press the X on the controller and game away
Harware wise MS is tops, just talking about it makes me want to pre-order this bitch right now.
Wyzdom said:I don't really like the Xbox controller and it seems pretty similar. I might be doomed. ;(
I dream of a gamepad that's having joystick like the Dualshock and that is comfortable for the hand as the GC pad is.
You still have to either squint your fingers into that crevice, (or put them over the bulge, which if it's anything like Logitech, feels weird as the grip is off since it's not meant to be held like that)Yeah, but with the Logitech and the Wavebird that bulge was passed on to the body of the controller. With the X360 it's neatly placed in a little box underneath the controller, so it doesn't alter the shape (making the thing bulkier) of the controller and keeps it out of the way of the tips of your fingers too. It's an intelligent design IMO.

- Extra middle button for Xbox Live stuff (it's actually 4 buttons in reality)

The DC controller had that damn bulge, and it wasn't even wireless. Good job Sega.shoot man, I'm afraid that big dooky block in the back will rub against my fingers. I had this problem with the Dreamcast controllers and I got blisters once.

They are lights that tell you what player you are in a four player game.

shpankey said:sorry, i know I had read somewhere that you could press it in four spots with different results. but maybe that was just speculation or sumfin. woulda been cool tho.
:lol that's funny how news can come around like that, almost confriming itself, using itself :lolPedigree Chum said:Haha, that was my speculation. And yeah, it would have been cool.
The controller has feedback motors like the Controller S, but this time around you'll have four strength options (including off) to adjust the rumble to your liking.

anyhow, is it confirmed that this controller will work with the PC? that would kick a lot of ass if so! I also like this, from the review..

Joe said:just so you guys know the wireless controllers dont come with rechargable batteries, thats extra but i think it only runs on 1 AA battery unless i didnt read it correctly (cant remember where i read it).
also, does anyone know if the controller packed in the box is wireless or wired yet?
DCX said:It's so funny, my friend asked me this very question and i told him, well they might but why wouldn't you want a wireless controller...and it's the same question i ask you guys why get the wired versions?

i wonder if they got Mizuguchi to design this one also.
in any case, it's an improvement over controller-s. so take that as you will.

the L and R triggers are analog, the L and R buttons (formerly black and white) are digital..jett said:Since it hasn't been mentioned at all, I guess the 360's buttons aren't analog like the PS2's...?
(sold seperately)Pedigree Chum said:rechargeable battery pack.
also, depends on price...Plus if you barely ever use the wireless, you could always just leave it plugged in with the USB rechargeable cable. The corded controller is useless, unless they made it for the sole reason as to pack it in with the system and sell teh wireless separately for a premium![]()
