Only MS would pay more for the voice actors to do this trailer to release their game on their supposed competition.
What do you mean competition? Didn’t you get the memo? Now Macs are the competition.

Those pesky MacBooks!

This won't sell well on PS5 at full price due to it not being day and date on the console.

In the future, in order to maximize profit, MS needs to make sure these games release day and date on PS5. Otherwise, sales will always be muted.

I'm somewhat willing to pay full price for a good MS game that someone else gets for a dollar. I'm not willing to do that 6 months late. They will make some money on this but could have made so much more.

They already know this and are working to make future games day and date on PS5 imho.

Correct, same here. Game looks good and I'm interested but they aren't getting $90 CAD from me for a late port of a 15 hours linear game. I can wait another 6 months to get it half price in the fall.

...You do know that before the eight generation fo consoles, it was rare for a game made in the West to exceed more than 10 hours. The critically acclaimed Uncharted trilogy back in the PS3 days was over 10 hours long and never once had any gamer criticized its length.

We're talking about consoles, not PC. Plus, console gamers like myself aren't interested in forking over two to three grand for a PC that will be outdated within four years.

PC is still the best platform for this game. Just because you dont want to spend the money to play the game the best possible way, doesn't stop it from being the best possible way to play the game.

Those games were all launching at $60 CAD price point too. It is what it is, unfortunately... with taxes we end up close to $100 for one of these full priced games here now, I can't afford to drop cash like that on something I'll finish in a week unfortunately.

The optics of releasing a better version of an "exclusive" game on another console is peak Xbox.
The Pro is the superior console so why would they hamstring that version?

If they were worried about optics they wouldn't release at all on PS, they just want sales and if making a pro enhanced version adds to those sales they are all in

What I find more amusing is MS giving better support for pro enhanced games than Sony did for MLB The Show 25

I don't disagree with anything you've said, it's just going back a few years this wouldn't have even charted as a reasonable thing to assume.

Great game! Played it on Steam and loved it. Should be good on ps5pro since it uses raytracing for GI - it should look better than Xbox by a fair margin

The Great Circle as in going around from platform to platform in a circle. Might as well release them on all at the same time to maximum the sales from the hype. No wonder Xbox is in trouble.

Going to wait until I know what's on the disc.We know they cancelled it, what we don't know is when they started the port again.

Yeah, we've known this for about two years:

Aside from that, it's kinda sad that there's even a question about what will be on a disc for a game. I'm in the same boat in that I'd check for this game.

Edit: Just saw you need an internet connection to download the game for the "physical" version. Oh well, one less game for me to buy.

One of the things that sucks about modern gaming is that concept of buying games like fish. By weight. Uncharted 4 was not as good, among other things, because it wasn’t as streamlined as the previous ones.

Its adorable the way you keep trying to pretend you're a pc gamer.
They all do if you pay attention. Last Gen, that Ms also released a midgen pro console, and that it was the superior machine, the green force was all over the place pushing 'the best place to play' narrative lol. But i understand their side,... Shit, this Gen Ms didn't even tryed ffs, i would be pissed too.
