As an uncharted fan I can't get hyped for this although I appreciate it's not a clone. Maybe in a year or 2 on a deep sale or if it ever comes to ps Extra.

Like I asked, what are trying to prove? Notice how no one else gave a fuck? It’s your pretentious bullshit at play and nothing more.

Dude. What is wrong with you? Are you OK?

It upsets you that I responded to a stupid comment with an actual fact that PC players have been playing one of the most technically advanced games this gen thanks to indy launching in December?

That's just a fact, dude. What is wrong in speaking facts?

You seem upset.

You have a kick ass pc but want to defend Sony and the ps5 pro until you're clearly angry about factual comments on the Internet.

Just chill. It's video games.

It upsets you that some called the Pro the best platform for Xbox games? Chicken -> Egg?

And I’m fine. Generally, people who asked that on here aren’t.

Dude. I'm awesome.
In moments, but not this one.

Bottom line is you were bothered by his supposed PC omission. That's where it started and for no real reason because, well, I read it as Xbox -> PlayStation = plays best on Pro between the two. OBVIOUSLY, the PC version is the best place to play just about any game, but he was poking fun at Xbox having its games running better on the Pro. Defense of the Pro has always bothered you, man. You simply can't deny that.

Bottom line is you were bothered by his supposed PC omission. That's where it started and for no real reason because, well, I read it exactly as Xbox -> to PlayStation for the best place to play. I see nothing wrong there. OBVIOUSLY, the PC version is the best place to play just about any game. He was poking fun at Xbox having its games running better on the Pro. Easy to understand.
Nobody gives a shit if it runs better on pro. It won best graphics of 2024 even over Hellblade 2 at Digital Foundry because of PC and the scalability of the engine. Its really nothing new. Every Xbox game is also on PC.

Honestly dude. You couldn't be more wrong. Read my posts in this thread. The pro version should be amazing and will easily be the best version on console.

I just wanted to state a fact. Like another did in this very thread. You can't just ignore the pc version.

I'm a tech guy. Being upset over the pro would like being upset over someone owning a 5080 vs someone with a 4060 and not being able to handle the better gpu runs the game better. It makes no sense.

Thanks for saying I'm awesome in moments though. You are too ❤️

Clearly they do. :)
Nobody on Xbox. Series S players rarely comment on X stuff. X players rarely comment on PC stuff. They are used to all games having graphical builds to fit your hardware. Xbox doesn't even have a pro console but will likely merge with the PC version by 2027. Buy whatever hardware you want.

Sticking to the guns on this one. I didn't see a PC omission, but an opportunity to poke fun at Xbox. And, it's happening everywhere. Not just GAF and not just in regard to Indy. Folks aren't used to not only seeing Xbox exclusives launch on PlayStation, but run best on that console out of all the consoles.

I often hear how Xbox fanatics don't care, but...

1. that only seems to be the case now that things have changed so much (no way in Hell you're going to convince me that diehard 360/One fans would just brush off seeing their exclusives on PlayStation — history suggests otherwise).

2. it's good that you may not be bothered, but again, things have changed and Xbox fanatics (keyword) may only be uncaring because there's no choice but to be. They can't change what's happening and it is easy to have things thrown in their face now (particularly how it pertains to Phil and all of the untruths that surround him).

3. this major embrace of PC is a reaction, not an action. It's easy to throw things in PS5 Pro-only owners' faces because their console device was mollywhopped and there's no technological response to it from their favorite brand.

As far as Indy is concerned, all parties should be eating eating well. It's just that on console, Pro owners will eat a little better, and if they want the full course meal, will have to upgrade to a powerful rig.

I guess communication with you is impossible then lol. Grats on your victory I guess.

If it were impossible, you wouldn't have quoted me at all. :p

As far as "victories" are concerned, I personally won't be buying Indy on the Pro because I already played, beat, and experienced it best on PC. The real winners are the people who get to play the game at all, which is now PlayStation, Xbox, and PC users.

When the heavier hitters come to PS5, the narrative will implode.

Forza Horizon is KIND OF a big deal, but at the end of the day, it's a pretty bog standard racing game. Halo and Gears of War is a different story.

As PSSR improves, the gap between base units and Pro will make the case more and more that the best console to play on is PS5 Pro.

It's one thing if both competitors don't put out a midgen refresh, but if one does it and not the other? It becomes a big deal and many have pushed to minimize that. I get that right now it might not be worth it for everyone to upgrade from a base console to a PS5 Pro, especially if they have a PS5, but for new consumers and those with an XSX, I think the incentive is pretty large.

Wonder what the falling out was over. Can't imagine it was the fault of Nolan North, but I could be wrong.
With the ego of Trey Baker you could power a PS11.
You're both right lmao.

From a GQ article when this game first came out
This process has been both public and private. During the making of The Great Circle he fell out with his good friend Nolan North (best known for playing Nathan Drake in Uncharted) with whom he ran a retro gaming YouTube channel. “What he and I learned is that, in a pub, with a pint of Guinness, [we were] fucking great,” he says. “But [on the show] I was trying to turn him into something that I wanted him to be. I was being a bad friend.” They are on good terms now, friends again even, but it forced some introspection. “Before, I was so focused on being able to perfectly articulate the problem that I had with you, and really break down and litigate the offence and what you did that was wrong.”

He found what he calls the better path. It came with a freeing realisation: “I’m the problem.”

Indy is a great game and it’s good to see more people being able to play it.

Personally I think MS should have priced it slightly lower due to late release and drop prices elsewhere to $60 to increase potential numbers, but that’s a different conversation.

What amazes me about this game (which I really enjoyed by the way) is that, cause people want to shit on Assassin's Creed, they will show how bad the AI is in not spotting your character when they are trying to move around quietly. Yet in Indiana Jones, you can walk in front of the nazi's and they will not recognize you for a good while!

To add insult to injury, the PS5 collectors edition is better because it actually includes a physical version of the game. Microsoft don't give a shit about Xbox players.
It's crazy how the company just continues to shit on their fans as much as possible.

Yea this is one thing I don't like to hear about it. People still apparently loved it though.
