Its too late. The trailer converted me already. I've shaved my head and married a blonde girl of quality breeding stock.

Now I must sue Machine Games.

What child needs them to say this because full grown adults should have the mental capacity to pick up hints that if the nazis are the bad guys, the game isn't endorsing them.
New to the woke world? I made a paper airplane the other day and a tree hugging Karen called me the Hitler of trees.
We have created a generation so pathetic, it has become necessary to have a warning that says the nazis are the bad guys.
I see this more as Machine games protecting themselves( from a PR perspective) from the inevitable manufactured media shitstorm when people start doing stupid shit with the game that gives the appearance of sympathy towards the nazi characters.

So it's not like, common knowledge, that the nazis were kind of bad guys? Every sane person would agree.
You would think. But then again...the world.

The most bizarre warning sticker I've ever seen was for a microwave oven where it said "don't put your pet inside to dry it from rain/water/fluids."
Yes, but if the pet has been in the freezer for decades, it's a good way to de-freeze them. Just give them something warm to wear afterwards to dry up.

(who gets the reference?)

I wish they had a warning denouncing first person view for an Indiana Jones games.
I am trying to keep an open mind and hopefully FP view works for this game but I would have preferred TP view as well.

In other related news, the new Uncharted spinoff will include a warning denouncing mass murder.
Well, Indiana is likely going to be mass-murdering too. The people Nathan gunned down weren't exactly good people. (Personally I think this is a silly criticism of the series, since what should he have done instead, lay down his arms and ask them to shoot him instead? lol)

Honestly we should be glad the nazi imagery is still in the game. I'm sure they debated replacing it. At least it's not one of those "this game was made by a diverse group of woke assholes" messages. Hate those.

I am really glad for the warning. I wasn't sure at first if Indiana was the bad the guy. I thought he was a thief who just liked punching Europeans but now I know the errors of my way.

its silly. its a video game. and people criticizing him for being a mass murderer were taking it too seriously. just like these morons at machine games.

I get why Tintin in Congo had a foreword giving some historical context to why the book is batshit by today's standards.
But in a game where you literally punch Nazis?

yeah...well...here in germany we will definitely get our very own rainbow flag edition. :messenger_poop: Thats actually a case where pirating comes in very handy.

Maybe this indy and his girl boss partner make the nazis seem unintentionally likeable in comparison, hence the warning. Modern writers are that shit.

The reason being some idiots on twitter will actually believe this game is praising Nazis or something?

Come On What GIF by MOODMAN

True, I mean we had someone literally in a AC Shadows thread saying the game was supporting something about hurting the Japanese.

You need to actually tell some people that games are actually fake, not real, the game is not suggesting to harm any group of people etc. lol

We are in legit the softest generation that get offended from anything lol

Do they attempt to humanize the Nazi's in this game or something? Otherwise why the disclaimer, everyone knows the Nazis were vile and evil. Anyone with even a ounce of morality detests Nazis, especially since many of us have grandparents or great-grandparents who went to war against them.

My mom went down a certain very popular internet rabbit hole and years later she thinks the holocaust is fake.

Seen it happen to another guy, too.

This Nazi disclaimer makes me smh but I guess not for the same reason as everyone else.

I don't mind disclaimers, just glad games are returning to not shying away from using historically accurate military uniforms and the like. I don't think any reasonable person would think the use in games, movies or TV is glorifying the regimes they are referencing.

This doesn't really bother me (unless I can't 'X' past it quickly and have to stare at it for 10 seconds...) but I don't recall Nazis ever being portrayed as anything other than bad/evil in the franchise; though I have NOT watched the latest movie. Are they going to have a Nazi character be morally grey or sympathetic?

No one's going to become a Nazi because they see Nazis, freakin' idiotic messages. You want to scare people away from atrocious ideology? Put a warning in front of games that support the Nazism brother, Communism.

Yeah sure. "Everyone." I could name someone pretty relevant in the news lately that hasn't gotten the memo.

Go on. Name the Nazi that's in the news lately.

Oh, please, the nazis are the bad guys in Indiana Jones franchise, the player will kill nazis in this game, a warning makes no sense. The industry retardation doesn't stop to amaze me.
