Indivisible: Valkyrie Profile/Metroid, Indiegogo, PC/Mac/Linux/PS4/XB1 -- funded!

Welp, just shy of the second stretch goal. Hopefully the slacker backer system will complete it, it's pretty close.

Congrats to LZ for their awesome project! Now please take a long, well-deserved break before tackling it for good, you need to cure your stomach ulcers and close in that sleep deficit I'm sure you all suffered from... :D

I guess you're talking about the anime studio.

Is there any clause that says "if it gets funded you automatically have the go to reveal the name of the studio"? I mean after all they're supposed to be committed to it if funded right?

Am I expecting too much?

You are expecting things that make sense, therefore you are expecting too much.

Seems it switched to InDemand but contributions slowed down so maybe people don't realize or psychology is making people think "well its over I missed my chance".

Well...
From the campaign page

I thought that refereed to unnamed, minor Incarnations (like you see four of them below that sentence). I didn't think it referred to the named ones with awesome designs and backstories and whatnot.

There's only one way to decide who gets to be playable........
character vote is BACK!

Welp, goodnight to everyone. Can't wait to see slacker backers make dreams come true. See you all on the other side (the well rested one).

This should be a sentence in one of those oldschool motivational images. The picture would just be a collage of Japanese company logos lol.

Shantae got 150k in slacker backer donations, and it raked in about half as much money as Indivisible did. I'm confident we're getting through all the announced stretch goals at the very least.

Yeah, I definitely think the anime intro is within reach. Really all the stretch goals should be.

They all add so much value to the game, and hopefully now that its future is secured, people who were on the fence can feel confident in jumping in, and present contributors, particularly for the digital tier, can now consider jumping up the physical version, and have a bit of a cushion to do so past the holiday season.

Anyway, congratulations again Lab Zero!

Nice! Congrats, guys!

Even though I tried the demo and it didn't really click with me, the devs here worked hard throughout the entire campaign and their success is well deserved. But I'll be sure to give this game another chance once it's completed.

I really think that with us being this close, a final push with an Anime Studio announcement would really set it over the edge and get at least that stretch goal funded.

Heck, with all the attention that would generate, we'd probably get Voiceovers too.

Come on Anime Studio
(It's totally TRIGGER)
, be reasonable!

Thing is, that's already happened.

If we can just get the anime studio announced, it may give the campaign enough momentum to reach the final stretch goals, though.

Fingers crossed...

There's lots of people that haven't been following the campaign's progress so closely, and that's not even mentioning those that have yet to learn about it. The reveal of the studio will surely help as well though.

Basically, there's still lots of opportunity to get the final total up, and reach those stretch goals.

Oh its doable, even now there's a bit of money trickling in via the slacker backer campaign.

They just need to let people know, give them some incentive, etc. Maybe entice people with, I dunno, contests or Lanshi plushes or SOMETHING.

Though of course, they deserve a bit of a break first.

A big break hopefully, they've certainly earned it.

It just got pretty heated because people didn't get their favorite characters. There was also factions for particular characters and people would snipe at each other.
It was all in good fun until it wasn't, for some people.

Worked out in the end, but yeah, some of those salt wars were nuts.

People became very invested in it. And yeah, things did work out in the end. We kept the moe-blobs out!

Suck it Minette fans ;p

you do know now that Lab Zero isnt going to die she might return in the sequel right?

All according to Kekkeiku

By funding indivisible you orchestrated her possible inclusion

the whole time being the hype guy for Indivisible i had an ulterior motive =P
i always have an ulterior motive
always

Ravi, you mentioned graphical filters in the beginning of the campaign (like Okami ink or Valkyria Chronicles stencil) depending on the money you guys got.

Is there any plans on this now that the game reached the goal it did?

It's kinda neat how IGG tracks all contributions from the campaign separate from the In Demand ones. All the currently available tiers have reset to 0, with the handful of late backers in the last few hours showing up by themselves. Will be interesting to see how those numbers tick up!

Serious congrats though, Ravidrath. I can only imagine how brutal it was to slog through these last two months.

EDIT: Actually, thinking about In Demand. How are IGG about running limited time tiers during that period? For example, you talked about plans to make Lanshi plushes. Would you be able to open short runs of pledges to get stuff like that to maybe drive contributions way later down the road? Obviously yet more crowd fund organization is probably the last thing on your mind, but still, I'm curious!

Aaand the campaign is over! The game is still funded, and the game will still be made! That's all that matters.

The campaign is almost at 1.9 million. Honestly, the rest of the stretch goals being funded sometime during the game's development cycle is not outside the realm of possibility. So, until that possibility happens or not, I'll remain happy that Indivisible will one day come to us, and that Lab Zero still exists.

Congrats again, Lab Zero.

So what's the status on this IP license being under your control, I never got too much into it and the wording on that from the start of the campaign is gone now.

Aww~ we couldn't snag the second stretch goal.

Here's hoping the InDemand funding helps us cross that line at least.

Once again, congrats LabZero.

From the stream, not all are fighters. Some of them are npcs like blacksmiths and such. Not clear who. There won't be a vote pick who can and can't go adventuring with Ajna.

Well, on the campaign page in the Inner Realm section there are incarnations there that aren't on the chart. I'm assuming those are the ones that aren't playable.
