Infamous Second Son first screens

inFamous 2 is a really good game graphically, and a big upgrade from the first. Seriously, inFamous 1 is a hella ugly game. When I got it for free after the PSN outage, I couldn't believe it came out the same year as Uncharted 2. Looked like a PS3 launch title at best.

I would say Infamous 2 was a the best looking 'open world' game on consoles.

Despite all its flaws with setting, character design and mission structure the gameplay was so much fun in both inFAMOUS games. 2nd best Superhero games after the Arkham titles. If SP acknowledges and fixes the problems people have with the game they have something really special in their hands.

I was referring to the visual styling/design mock ups.

But we can go with what you got, too.

Well in that case the two don't look the same at all. SS isn't garish with its visuals, looks colourful but also subdued which I really dig.

You can see the city in the background of the shots. Can't wait to explore it and hopefully have more content in that area.

Most importantly the city needs to feel alive and exciting to explore which neither games on the PS3 did.

I'd have to go with Sleeping Dogs on that count. It's got the vastly superior PC port, but it's no slouch on the PS3 either. Gorgeous looking game.

You'll have to elaborate on that man, I'm a bit lost lol. Are Native Americans incapable of growing beards or something?

Pretty much, but more than likely he shaves.

This is the game I am most interested in seeing in motion. I'm curious how he will get around the city if he can't zip around on power lines.

Digitizing Seattle: Infamous Second Son's New Playground
Leaving behind the fictional cities of New Marais and Empire City, Infamous Second Son will task players with liberating the streets of Seattle as the new protagonist Delsin Rowe. While Sucker Punch wanted to make it clear that this was not a 1:1 recreation of the real-world city, the game's version of Seattle will include many of the town's famous landmarks and try to replicate the feel of America's Northwestern gem. One of the benefits of choosing Seattle is that it is the hometown of the developers themselves, which is relatively rare in the realm of open-world games.

Are these new? I posted yesterday a new thread with an Edge link and got fooled as they were all old screeshots. Don't want to risk it again.

These two I already saw hem before I think:

This will be my first PS4 game by the looks of it.

This game really has me interested but I found 1 to be a pretty awful game. Was 2 redeeming for the series? I couldn't get past 1's awful characters and writing, but gameplay was equally hollow. These would both need improving. Especially mission archetypes.

Let's out it this way, there are about six or eight screens for this game that exist, all from the Game Informer at the beginning of the month. Every 'new screenshots' post since then is the same screens :P

Basically GI released them > GAF > some site > GAF > Edge > GAF > PlayStation mag site > GAF etc.

IDK. Everyone has their opinion, but I loved infamous 1 & 2. I have played everyone open world released this gen except for Prototype 1 & 2. Both infamous 1 and 2 are my number 1 favorite open world games this gen.

I thought the characters got even more annoying in 2.
