I hope they incorporate a bit more platforming into this one. The first game had those sewer levels that reminded me of Sly Cooper, and some huge vertical structures to climb up. The second one seemed to move away from that. I'm truly going into this one blind, I've watched no footage but I know Suckerpunch are clutch so I'm all in.

I've watched a good chunk of the first part, and there were a few platforming bits. Is that spoiler-ish? I feel bad mentioning anything about this game whenever I talk about it lol.

I grabbed the first one for free through the PSN "Welcome Back" offer after the network meltdown. Got around halfway through the game. 3rd person action/adventure is my thing, but although I didn't dislike it, I didn't enjoy it enough to really care about completing it. Decided against purchasing the second one, but I've got Second Son pre-ordered. Hopefully I'll enjoy it enough for me to not force myself to appreciate/complete it. Looks good though.

I'm a long-time fan of the series so what we are seeing of the game excites me a lot. I hope the game can draw in a new group of fans too - the series has it's flaws, but overall it's huge fun. Second Son looks like it might have the necessary ingredients to boost it up to a new level. Come on friday! At which point I will be forced to ignore my copy of Ground Zeroes for inFamous - not an easy choice, but a sacrifice I'm prepared to make...

I have been thinking this, I won't break that £40 barrier... which is stupid of me to have bought a console day 1 really. But then I know if I bought it next year and got all the previous years games I wouldn't play them all as I don't have the time to play catch up.

Still, how long is the delivery... as the prices might drop by the time it is delivered anyway.

And yet again, I will reiterate: This is just the first iteration of their engine. When they start working on the next infamous title (or whatever game) they will have the Experience, advances in efficiency thanks to ICE team and most importantly more Time.
