You must've not read the comic. It was brilliant.
Her first face was a weird uncanny valley baby face while the new one reflects her age and just looks better overall.
It disappoints me when people say this. Sure its ok to have different views of characters and I can respect what they were trying to do.
But that doesn't mean I like an evil Superman whatsoever and it hurts that at that time, the comic was so popular while the regular Superman comics were getting trashed and reduced sales. It was a blow to the guts that people prefer a villianous Superman and that the regular writers let it come to that point.
Worst part about all the Injustice Universe was the backstory for Superman going berserk.
Lois is Pregnant and is killed by Superman thanks to the Joker. But the Author avoids any blood on Superman's hands by having him take her to space which kills her and the baby. At the same time Joker's gas made Superman view Lois as freaking Doomsday.... You are telling me Superman wouldn't punch him a few times and would just grab Doomsday up for a trip through space? No I'm not saying the author should have drawn a bloody scene but you are really pushing the suspension of belief if you are saying Superman would just fly Doomsday away to space without any other actions taken. I dunno how the sequel will deal with Injustice Superman obsessive behavior with Lois from other Earth but that will be interesting I'm sure.
You're argument seems quite redundant. "I think he would punch him first" isn't quite the huge mischaracterization you claim to make. I also don't understand your bit about the Superman comics. Injustice is entertaining but I wouldn't dare call the comic brilliant.

Dunno what some of you are smoking but she looks the same(which is still horrible and man-face). Also her animation is the same as the male characters in the game. She moves like a man! Totally unacceptable.
The worst of all is her jokey outfit. Supergirl is supposed to wear a skirt! Without a skirt you are not a Supergirl! And all that blue on her looks ugly. I can not approve this.
