[Insider Gaming] Activision Leadership Isn’t Worried About Battlefield 6 Because Call of Duty is “Too Big To Fail”

They're absolute right, but this was never a good thing.

Bet you guys weren't so cocky right before MW2019 saved all your asses.

Sledgehammer remains a massive internal threat to the franchise. That and the COD marketing team seems to not have a good handle on shit lately.

Could only find one single multiplayer match in 20 minutes or so of searching all MP playlists where I'm at this morning, this is the current flagship title, BO6, so things are far from great.

It would be on brand for EA to potentially hire hackers to fuck with Activision games, the anti COD brand aggression coming out EA is pretty fucking wild.
There's something wrong with your internet if you can't find a game on BLOPS6. Shit I can still get matches on Halo infinite ranked.

Sounds like you have a case of bad NATS.

Where do you live? The Arctic?

Close, actually. South Africa. This place is an isolated ping island, latency is too high to have an acceptable experience to any Western nations, although you sometimes hear French voices coming from obscure islands to the East, apart from those people, your online gaming in low ping products is exclusively local only. It's nice but gets shaky if a game's popularity drops.

But yeah, given the way things are quickly heading politically and economically, I wonder if any Western game servers will even be available to access one of these days.

I know how you feel, I used to live in Asia and getting games on western titles was a nightmare at times. If you struggle with COD then everything else must be a nightmare.
