Basically. I hope Todd knows this game has 0% chance of living up to the hype
I visited the subreddit of this game to see if I could figure out what it was and I left even more confused. They seem to speak of the game as if they've seen it, talking about what they are going to do in each city, how they are going to pilot ships or explore planets, how it will succeed where other space sims have failed, how it's going to be the new Mass Effect.

I was expecting Skyrim in space but people seem to be going wild with the lack of information.

Is Jeremy Soule still at Bethesda? I didn't follow the scandal back then so I don't know how it ended.

Sad if he's not. I loved his work, from Secret of Evermore to Skyrim.

Can't wait to install 200 mods and make it the best game ever.
Just like sex, you should first go vanilla with Bethesda games (except maybe very light mods like unofficial patches) before spicing it up.

I'm fucking hyped for this even if it ends up just being Skyrim in space.

There hardly will be any mods day one so of course I'm going for that vanilla flavor for my first run.

What a load of pretentious twaddle. Still, I do enjoy some of the Skyrim music and I'm sure the Starfield soundtrack will be suitably 2001 ASO-like.

I actually like this type of roll out marketing campaign, its nice getting to appreciate the art/music and build up to the full reveal. But I'm also older than alot of you here and seem to not be in this mad rush to just have everything revealed, or sitting here getting all hyped and in a frenzy. It'll be a game, it'll have flaws, it'll probably play like Elder Scrolls/Fallout, and it'll have tons of mods in a few years.

They did the same thing with fallout 4. Gameplay at e3 launched that same fall. I much prefer this to seeing dumb trailers for 5 years before a game comes out.

That's worse because Fallout 4 was a pos and maybe, just maybe, we're past the time where we have to play buggy garbage at launch right?

So you think the game would be better if we saw vertical slices and cinematic trailers at e3 for the last 4 years ?

I don't see the correlation

Looking forward to hearing all my speakers during this game.
Remember when you used to have to buy a DVD to see this kind of stuff as extras.
Now we get the extras before as the marketing for the game.

Hadn't heard it before, and not sure why it would be different for this game, but glad that Zur is back; Fallout 4's soundtrack is one of Bethesda's best.
