anyone heard of chariot? just popped up on Apple TV:
Heard of it? I've finishing it. Very very cool game on coop and I honestly enjoyed it on solo play (although not many do so keep that in mind.)

Yeah, noticing a lot of new faces in the threads too. Good to see more people warming up to mobile gaming. In March 2015, the IOS thread took 25 days to reach page 9
January 2016 took us 20 days
February took us 13
It's nice to see threads being so active!

That's why we have MFi controllers

RCR doesn't support MFi though or does it?
Not feeling Lost Socks so far. I knew it wasn't my type of game but thanks to Pitta I could at least try it. Maybe it would help if there was MFi support. Developers who release such games without MFi support should be skinned alive :/
Description says it does.
Yeah, played about 30 mins. Review seem pretty spot on from what i've seen. Plays nice but difficult makes it a chore.
Also don't understand how you could make such a game with MFi support.

I really enjoyed what I played of Lost Socks but I also love that kind of gameplay. Got everything in both of the Rayman games and it this definitely scratches that itch. I have no problem beating my head against a level until I'm able to get through flawlessly.
I wish the jumping was as tight as Rayman's. Though now that I've unlocked more weapons and perks I'm enjoying the game a little more.
I said something similar about the game last week. The gameplay is not always about skill sometimes it's just memorization as the reason you complete a level. I still love the graphics and customization options though.Yeah... I guess auto runners aren't for me. Game is fun but I'm not super into it so far.
It's challenging but, unlike some other hardcore games, when I die I don't want to immediately restart. It feels a bit like a chore to redo the levels. Maybe because the core gameplay doesn't feel super tight and fun to me. When I die it doesn't feel like I fucked up, it feels like an event I had no control over but now I know what to do. Plenty of games do that but I don't enjoy that mechanical approach to challenge.
I'll keep playing to see if it clicks.

I think almost all auto runners have memorization as part of the mechanics. I still feel this has more skill involved over the Rayman games which are even more memorization based.
The level design and branching paths, with mechanisms like having to break ice blocking a path and switched that set off elevator type devices or open bridges, is just brilliant IMO.
The remake of the South Korean horror game White Day released today for the US, and it has a special introductory price sale.

Sadly it's not compatible with my devices, because normally I would jump on this.
According to their FAQ it will be F2P but their won't be any energy or timer systems in place. Apparently all the micro transactions will be additional heroes and characters. Is this gonna be F2P crap like Plants v Zombies 2?
In other news, Plants vs Zombies Heroes:

Pretty impressed by White Day so far.
Pretty impressed by White Day so far. I hadn't heard of the original game, but read up on it and it seems to have a cult following in the horror gaming world. The original game in 2001 was never officially ported to the US, but has been favorably compared to Amnesia despite being made long before that game.
This version, which as I mentioned is also in development for PSVR, is a 3D remake. While I may not get some of the South Korean culture references, the full voice acting in English is well done and the atmosphere, taking place at night in a school with an ominous history, is creepy.
Anxious to see how this one goes the further I go in. But a stealth release worth looking into if you like horror games.
PvZ 2 is actually grown to be a pretty great example of F2P gaming IMO.Is this gonna be F2P crap like Plants v Zombies 2?
Is it MFi compatible? I saw virtual buttons and was a bit turned off...
So, after looking into all releases, I'm torn between Able Black and Dream Machine. Somewhat leaning Dream Machine since apparently Able Black is really short.
Don't think I've ever heard of it, thanks for the heads up.Silver Bullet is on sale from $4.99 to $2.99.
It may be a little rough around the edges but it's still one of the best action games on iOS IMO and didn't get the attention it deserved from a small indie dev.
It looks pretty cool but, for now, I'm a little burnt out on puzzle platformers. No love for Telepaint?

Final Fantasy IX got updated. Now the virtual analog stick works on the dead zone. Yay.
Any word on if it also fixed the MFi controller issues?Final Fantasy IX got updated. Now the virtual analog stick works on the dead zone. Yay.
