Not technically but I don't mind evangelizing yucata.de as well.
I'd be happy to teach you at some point or if you just want to play a few async games until I get back. It's another one that's easier taught than learned solo. Although if you know deckbuilding that's already a pretty good base.

Most games work fairly well on iDevices apart from Pergamon.
Yeah, it's eznark. I spent a week pretty much doing no work and playing that politics game with Astro and others. I deleted the bookmark. However, I am ready to get back into it!
15 now on the G+ circle. Oh yeah, when I circle you, circle me back otherwise I don't think you'll see posts. Pretty much planning on using this as the basis for setting up live games as discussed above. Actually kinda stoked on the idea. I also post there about board games once every few weeks or so but honestly I don't socialnetwork too much other than reading stuff on Twitter and G+ for reading, work, and Hangouts.
I'mm confused, what do I have to do exactly? Where do I see it? I can't see you/anything boardgame related under my circles.
circles [left side] --> grab me --> drop me into a circle (any one you want). then i will show up in your main feed. not that there's a ton of stuff i'm posting or anything, just as a reference. once the group is pretty much set i'll share it with everyone and then we'll have a good core live boardgaming group.

I'm sad to hear Total War: Shogun Battles will be real time, I was totally hoping it'd be async strategy like the PC game
I wonder how it'll play... Been looking forward to it for a while, I remember reading that it's supposed to come out April 19th? Not sure though, does anyone know?Picked up Samurai. Played a game against the AI and it is super simple to play but seems to have some pretty enormous strategy. I sent out an invite to RaySpencer and AstroLad, and tried to send one out to a few others but the names on the Google Doc arent their Samurai names. Who is playing this game? Anyone else?

All the cards you can get for free, via the story mode or online. When you clock the game there are challenges to earn heaps of in game currency (more than the story mode and they are repeatable) to buy booster packs. You can sell your spare cards now. This isn't any different to buying booster packs in real life or buying DLC for The Magic the Gathering games. it's very easy to get booster packs. It isnt pay to win

Yeah, I know you can get the cards without paying, but that felt really slow. And when I went online I kept losing right away with all these uber powerful cards I had never seen before.
I should clarify that I don't like deck building games though. I suck at the building part. To each their own

No. It's a real time TCG, and the aim of it is to get 10 influence in 2 of the 3 'regions' (aka zones). Agents (character cards) are sent to regions to gain points (influence) in either of those regions. You have these 'site' cards that gain influence of the course of 'a day' and they are persistent until the opponent overrides it. Also you have instant cards, that can buff, debuff, or erase agents or sites.
It's actually simple to learn and takes about 15 minutes. Also the game is FREE so grab it off the App store and get started.
AstroLad needs to reach his quota for Circles created this quarter or else they won't give him the Glasses.

ha. Yeah, g+ is a complete mess.
I just bought 200 cards for 300 florins in AC Recollection in the new card Marketplace lol. 3 shit booster packs are worth 300f and gives you 30 cards. There are so many cards worth 1f each it's ridiculous haha.
For references sake you earn like 65f a battle, and much more in the challenges. Rare cards like Ezio are like 1200f at the moment on the marketplace, it's a player controlled economy now.

Premium probably removes adds for 0.69 ukp. Not sure if the qwirkle people will like it. Good job it isn't by RK.
I guess I'll just add them both for the time being. Can always remove them later for whatever reason.

The new marketplace in AC Recollection is so good!
Ezio is now 3200f... I snapped up a shitload of Thief and Assassin cards that went down to 1f overnight (Assassin booster packs are typically 900f for 10 cards). It lags alot on the Marketplace since the prices are getting updated every second. I'm almost halfway through the collection of 288 cards available. I think i picked up at least 60 new ones and heaps of doubles to flesh out my decks since the marketplace went up.
In case you didn't know already this is my favorite iOS game

I don't think I used that Mesmeric Presence more than once on my own turn. Didn't realize how good it'd be for chain bait.
I'm glad you beat me actually, I couldn't resist the temptation of going out the cheap way, and was totally gonna attack the forfeit. That would have been a shameful win.
